no you cant, unless prior to converting your line you are already on the maxis value plans with supplementary lines, you can still maintain the previous plan benefits like free sms and calls between family lines

Hmmm, can register pre-order online but have to pay at maxis centre right?
can we go direct to maxis centre without having to go online to print out anything?

We don't need to get the micro sim now, right?
Can just change it and will receive it immediately when we get the iPhone 4. Is it so?

Not very sure about that. Can't get it now as our phones dont support microsim. So i guess, when we collect our iPhone then only change.

question...

as i said before i intend to downgrade my value50 to hotlink youthclub n buy the iphone outright. shud i downgrade now, or downgrade when im going to get the plan later?

if downgrade now, change to hotlink SIM and then later change to hotlink microSIM... if later, juz change once only, but im scared if got any other complications

ol' news is ol'.....

just to shared a light a bit about this hardware revision thingie....
hardware revision means the phone will be inspected by FCC for approval... meaning the iphone 4 will be and will be inspected again and if its approved by FCC then it can be sold.... even apple could do it secretly, wont u think consumers are really that naive not to recognize it... further more FCC? u wont want to mess with FCC and the lawsuits...

plus.... hardware revision means apple company would declare there is a problem with the antenna and dont u think this will cause an uproar AND this move will cost apple BILLIONS.... i mean BILLIONS!

think logically for a bit..... come on.... i mean i know if its from internet, it must be true... but this is outrageous...

> Can I purchase iPhone 3G/3GS from Maxis via the Hotlink plan but use it on my Maxis postpaid or on other telco (Digi, Celcom)?
- Yes. That's the beauty of official-unlock/outright purchase. However, the Hotlink plans do come with a free 500MB data usage per month, for a year. If you decided to use the phone on another plan or telco, you're basically 'dumping' the free data bundle that comes with it.
My sis has an iphone 3GS with 6 months 500MB data package left to go (prepaid). She is thinking of changing to Blackberry so i'm planning to take her iphone. Can maxis transfer the remainder 6 months 500Mb to my number or is it burned?
