i think for the moment no one are sure about this since there is no news from maxis
but previous practice, you need to go maxis to register and can pay either by cash or credit card
*
Ok, as long as they accept credit card.. i'm saved!. Haha. Don't hv that much $$ right now. Pain also la to pay RM2k plus by cc. If got 12months installment, perfect! biggrin.gif

That means there is a possibility for prepaid users to get the phone without having to bound to the maxis contract

for example you sign up for iValue RM100 monthly

You need to pay:
iphone 3GS 32GB for RM1990 + RM400(deposit) (24months contract)
iphone 3GS 32GB for RM2290 + RM400(deposit) (12months contract)

the deposit you need to pay, i guess Maxis worry you runaway with RM1990 iphone after you sign up lol, meaning you not going to pay them monthly RM100 for 24 months

your RM400 deposit will be credited equally over your first 5 months of bills.

I am using RM50 maxis line...
My family have another rm50 principle line with rm30 subline.
I message/call them very often.

Is it worth it if I switch to Digi?
Becos family will spend more to contact me... and vice versa?
what would you do?

I guess its fine but anyhow I think Digi's call plan are much cheaper especially smsing but if most yr family members or frens are using Maxis den why change to Digi.. As both telcos have their own good sides:-)

I checked out with the Maxis center in Pyramid.
Credit cards including AMEX and Diner's as well as debit cards (Maybank with the cherry picture) are acceptable during the upfront purchase only.
AMEX and Diner's are not accepted for installment.
