If i am a supplementary line, and i want iValue 1, will my bill still be shared with my principal line? e.g : iValue 1 = RM100 + Rm50 (principal), if my principal line use more than RM50, it will be taken from my RM100?

im not aware of any country where ip4 16gb is more expensive than 3gs

better get the i4 earlier when it first officially launch in malaysia..then still can sell your older iphone (3g/3gs) at reasonable price before the price get dropped kaw2 later...

it's not like they are still selling the 16gb and 32gb 3GS. n of course the 8gb 3GS wont be close to rm2490, rm1990 is more likely

An update on maxis iphone status from maxis centre manager.

Currently Iphone 3gs got new promotion to clear out stock..

On the Iphone 4 launch is expected to be in September, prices and stock has not been released to any Maxis centers yet..

Will go another maxis center to ask and compare info..

No its just around RM2,000 if you get a iPhone 4 16GB from Singapore.

I'm not worried that the price will be too high.
I just don't agree with the plan where maxis gives you little call hours with large data which cannot be used up entirely. I'm on iValue2 (1GB) and I normally used up less than 500MB, if I didn't deliberately download stuff to use up the 1GB. I'm a heavy user but using mail, safari, social networking apps, news apps and updating apps everyday just don't use up so much bandwidth. And since everywhere has WiFi connection I would just not use my 3G which drains my battery faster. I wonder how much data do you guys use every month?

another noob question, really not good in understanding the t&c

i am using supplementary line, i wanna use the iphone, however the principal line owner is using alot of call time. So what can i do? use the principal line owner's name to apply and then swap the simcard to mine? then will the free data wasted, and the data i downloaded calculate as extra usage?

I think maxis and digi should increase their free data usage that comes with the iphone4 plans.
My cousin from Singapore was asking me about Malaysia's plan and I told him that I was on iValue1 which comes with 500MB monthly data usage.
He was like "What? Malaysia's telco plans still have 'MBs'?"
Singtel's iphone plans with at least 12GB data bundle compare to our 500MB - 3GB.

According to Macrumours report, each telco in Australia is given 12-13k iPhone 4.
But only 1 telco alone already received 100,000 pre-orders.
A friend of mine managed to get one on the first day, whereas another was told that he needa wait for 3 more months.
Just like my friend and I both pre-ordered the 3GS last year, but it was only me who got the phone in early august wheres he needa wait for 2 more months.
Poor thing. lol
I do hope that both Maxis and Digi could meet the demand =)

you see, Maxis had 2 stage pre-order last year. many many dum-dum tried to skip the system... and got the phone late.

Two stages pre-order is it one stage for staff and second stage for maxis customers..?

Few of the staff working in Maxis center are also waiting to buy the Iphone 4 themselves.

Get contacts in Maxis center, I am sure they can just keep one unit in the office on the reason of reservation for loyal customer that is what I am gonna try to do 

For the pre-order, does all Maxis center provide collection of the Iphone or only the KLCC Maxis Center..?
