The reason it hasnt launched here yet is because Apple havent produced enough iPhones, so it had to be pushed back.

My GF does advertising for one of the big newspapers out here and her client is Maxis. They told her its been pushed back until atleast mid September until they get the all clear from Maxis.

If they follow the same system as last year, the answer is yes.

I pre-ordered my Hotlink 32GB 3GS and collected it on the first day of launch, 31st July 2009!

In that case, i think i will go with the prepaid plan. I will save more as i don't use as much as Rm100 for iValue 1. How much do you think Maxis will offer for the iPhone 4 32GB? I am deciding with the 32GB version because i have heard a lot of people who bought the 16GB version regretted. And the iPhone 4 records in HD so that will be using up more space.

just wonder what made them regretted buying 16GB? im planning to get one myself and dont wanna regret it later. about saving in HD im sure there's an option

They said that it was worth a few extra hundred bucks for 2x more storage. They have plenty of apps., music albums, YouTube videos. Just like me. In Singapore, 32GB converted to RM is around RM2500, i hope that Maxis doesn't charge RM2990 like the iPhone 3GS.

that's good news. for 16gb iphone, assuming reload rm30 per month, and mobile internet rm68/month (after the 1st year).. totals up to only rm4026 in two years. 2490+(24*30)+(12*68). assuming the outright price is really rm2490 lah hehe

i think the best part about this plan is i can control so i wont exceed 500mb. if exceed, maxis simply cant charge me if i dun have credit. for postpaid, i dun dare

btw, say i have the 500mb free data in a month. suddenly 1 day i decide to surf a lot, can i still get the rm8 1-day mobile internet plan for an extra 500mb?
