QUOTE(raimy_m9 @ Nov 26 2010, 11:40 PM) dont feel any changes here because of these YES thing..maybe they're doing upgrades...or because their tower down, u got connected to other tower which is far.....this happened to me once..earlier this year..suddenly got only 2bars.and the internet became slow...called the cs..they said dont know...created a case..then they called back and told me that one of their tower down..only just a few hours down.. Cannot be due to getting connected to other tower. How can that happen without fail for the past 3 weeks?I have surveyed every possible part of my home walking around with my netbook. Called their CS already weeks ago and no improvement.

I do not blame the CS totally when they have no idea what is going on. I do not think that the management would immediately tell the CS to tell the customer that there is a problem until the management know that the fact cannot be hide anymore.

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Nov 26 2010, 08:53 PM) yes different service provider has different network capabilities and of course, different plans for consumers. that is why malaysian broadband users are all scatterred/switching between telcos. it is like job hunting! lol 1 user has good Digi coverage does not mean I have good digi coverage. same goes to usage pattern. I may download more, you may upload more. in the end, equal comparison between telcos are difficult. it is not apple-to-apple. it is more like variety-of-apples comparison. check this out: Broadband in Malaysia: Cost Comparison Table http://www.soyacincau.com/2010/11/19/broad...mparison-table/lol.... celcom pay per use and streamyx excluded cos there are unlimited.... For me, the cheapest broadband in malaysia is Streamyx Unipack 1Mbps.... coz unlimited,1.6Mbps and only RM68....

If you want to use the YES, you have to buy their device and have to constantly monitor the bill. I decided not to use their service after found out that i cannot use it with my Nokia 5800. Guys and Gals, My U mobile always connect to "MY CELCOM" when i put it into the mobile phone. Anyone have any idea what is happening?

@Quantum_thinking @ulart_mie how is now?
@digilife , the choice is yours. U Mobile does advantage
Yes: Upfront Price: Huddle (its own MiFi) RM399 plus RM50 activation fee Coverage and Speed: check the coverage first, quite limited, for the user that sign up, they said it is so far so good, give its pricing model, it won't be crowded Bill Shock: No, but service interruption once you run out of credit Prepaid Model
U Mobile: Upfront Price: MiFi RM378 all inclusive RM100 activation fee (will be rebate to you in 5 months), and RM68 (1 month UB68 service) Coverage and Speed: check the coverage first, usually more than 1mbps Bill Shock: No, no service interruption after 5GB Postpaid Model Edit: U Broadband do has prepaid model, but prepaid (does not have to pay activation fee) does not have the modem bundle and activation fee rebate.
