Back to normal. By the way, how do you find out about U Broadband?

long time ago i was register to umobile pospaid plan that was 3 years ago.. verry new and the broadband modem not stable with macbook, it make my macbook crazy, and the speed suck!! so i return back and terminate the service,
then after 3 years.. im try my luck back since YES 4G turn me down ( not in coverage ) so i dicided to try back.. but this time with compaq cq42 and the modem was E1672 unlock modem... this time was great and not have any problem.

so far im happy with the service... yeahh before this im using digi prepaid 384kbps
so suck... always disconect after 2 months using it.. 1 month was great.. and 2nd month omg.. its start to make problem..
so today was my 1st day using umobile ub68 prepaid.. i wasa gona subscribe to postpaid but i wana wait until january coz wana using the HSDPA+ 42mbs
so im stick for prepaid umobile rite now.. see how the speed and the service if its good for upcoming month.. then im will sign up the postpaid..
so far the speed was good.. but unstable speed.. but i don want to make a comment more about umobile coz im verry new here.. so will try to enjoy the service.

wowww... bursting like rocket!! i don know lar...
i realy newbie here.. i just read from post page 1 untill page 50 and then i read about MDMA so i install it and not using my curent dashboard modem..
then the speed bursting and speed was woww!!!
and now event i got more and more speed... omg hope my quota 5GB dosent reach by the end of the month...hehehe!!

before this my speed is average 0.9mb to 1.30mb..
and now... 2.63mb!! damnnn...

my house is verry near to pasar besar gombak,jalan gombak, i live near road.. and i see some base station on the masjid jamek.. but i don know who own it maxis,umobile,digi,celcom,yes,celcom??
but yeahh,. after i read ur old post about MDMA and i install it..damn my speed was superb!!

what is MDMA do anyway?? how come the speed bursting?? before this i got 1.2mb but now 2.63mb??

I reckon it does nothing to the speed. It might be off peak hour such as this for getting good speed. Anyway, enjoy the speed okay :-).

U Broadband do has prepaid model, but prepaid (does not have to pay activation fee) does not have the modem bundle and activation fee rebate.

how do they charge on prepaid?

any validity or pay as you use as i only use it for my ipad surfing and no torrent or P2P

Just buy a prepaid simcard from U mobile which cost RM5. Buy reload coupon of RM 70. Insert simcard in any mobile phone and subscribe UB68. Yr credit would be deducted after subscribing and you have 1 month unlimited usage starting from the moment you subscribe. I just use my huawei E550 modem and log on. You would enjoy max speed of 3.6 Mbps.

Install MDMA to log on for better speed.

No other prepaid in malaysia give you this speed with this unlimited download. YES can go to hxll if compared with U mobile.

the network there is hspa+ already. 7.2mbps modem users should be now "unlocked" with its potential.

mdma shows my prepaid profile is 4096kbps. that means my max speed would just topped at this?? (someone confirm)

Nope, mine never ever exceeded 5GB and I confirmed it by calling the CS.

So not capping issue for me.

I use to get full bars or 80% at least a month back. Now it's like Umobile network is crippled in Ipoh.

If this continues, I'll terminate their service soon.
