i don't think so la, celcom got good coverage at bukit beruntung, last i check U doesnt....or maybe i was looking at 3G then? now i'm confused!
*
What.... i also stay at Bukit Beruntung, Section 7.... Celcom networks suck here, but maxis ok...., i have to climb up stare to find 3G signal....

Here i got...

Celcom 2G/3G-poor recipient
Maxis 2G/3G-average
DiGi 2G (GPRS only) or almost out of coverage
Umobile out of coverage for sure....

Wimax out of coverage.... sad.gif

i think this is because of near the hillside cause radio interference....sad.gif

hmm, i used celcom before (phone line), no prob at all. now i use maxis, no prob as well. broadband maxis use to suck but this past month has been good.  U mobile/DiGi, terrible. wimax for sure la no coverage. all service providers (including Yes) only focus at bukit beruntung golf club, no fair!
i'm at bukit sentosa actually, so dnt know la coverage at real bukit beruntung how.

lol....section 7 almost ~3km away from bukit sentosa near bus terminal....tongue.gif YES shows how sucks there are coz limited coverage and Pay Per Use plan.... im now staying in my parent house in bukit beruntung coz no lecture for this month..... but hope Umobile service available at Penang (and HSPA+ 21Mbps tongue.gif) after my lecture starts next year....smile.gif

yes

different service provider has different network capabilities and of course, different plans for consumers.

that is why malaysian broadband users are all scatterred/switching between telcos. it is like job hunting! lol

1 user has good Digi coverage does not mean I have good digi coverage. same goes to usage pattern. I may download more, you may upload more.
in the end, equal comparison between telcos are difficult. it is not apple-to-apple. it is more like variety-of-apples comparison.

check this out: Broadband in Malaysia: Cost Comparison Table http://www.soyacincau.com/2010/11/19/broad...mparison-table/

lol.... celcom pay per use and streamyx excluded cos there are unlimited.... tongue.gif

For me, the cheapest broadband in malaysia is Streamyx Unipack 1Mbps.... coz unlimited,1.6Mbps and only RM68....biggrin.gif
