Hopefully can get the netbook asap. I called 100 and the girl said i should be getting the laptop before 9 septemeber. If not, i can call back and lodge a complain.

Hmm.. just wanna ask, currently i'm using Streamyx unipack along with TM Home Prepaid line, but can I change my phone line from current Home Prepaid to Home Line (normal line.., line that does not sound like "tekan bintang untuk membuat...." instead sound like real dial tone... "toot"....)

my streamyx installer called me at 7pm and told me that he need to collect back the modem , D-link tomorrow frm me , bcoz it was given in mistake ..mf...he told me that no modem will be given if it is upgrade frm 1mbps to 4mbps ...but who care , my dlink box everything thrown d... juz left modem and adapter....

lol. jus say lost or igore them

i will give back of course , modem N adapter only..other thrown...

fyi i apply for the lowest package 1 malaysia. RM38+ RM21 for HP. They give the D- link modem with 4 routers.

At last somebody come to install the streamyx. The first appoitment was on 16 Aug, then change to 19/8 then 21/8, then today. i think it is bad service of the contrator not TM. Because the contrator never answer my phone. Now waiting the Netbook. When can Malaysian have good service in low price?

i am in situation 2. I terminate the BB streamyx and apply Cool UniPack. I think there are no 30 days cooling period. Just keep on call 100 to check your Cool Uni Pack status after terminate the streamyx. So, for those masih ragu-ragu about 30 days cool period, just go a head to apply Cool uni Pack for lower price of Streamyx and free netbook.

In your case you should have called your TM Branch & ask them to assign another contractor.More than 7 days of delay is unacceptable.

I personaly go to the TM Branch and complain but they said they can't do anything because just TM KL can assign new contractor. They just make report and ask you to wait. Yup, unacceptable, but what to do, and i think nothing will happen to that bad contractor. This is Malaysia bad culture. Hope 1 Malaysia will bring new culture. 1 Malaysia, Malaysia boleh...

Transferring my UniPack account to other phone line the speed quite unstable. Trying to do the report but useless.

i've upgraded from 1mbps to 4mbps and was given a new modem.

now all the modem given by uni pack is d-link ? and not riger DB108WL ?

nope not really .. 2 week ago , just got riger

I think that depends on the contractor that TM assigned to you...
what modem available on their stock, if they have riger, you will get Riger,
if they have D-Link, they will give D-Link...
Mine was not so lucky, only got riger....
I feel that my old Aztech DSL-605E are far more superior that wireless riger....

At last my streamyx was activated.

12/8- Go to tm point terminate old streamyx and apply uni pack.
16/8- Check from sams got appointment and called that guy,he say the port not yet ready.
19/8- came to my house and tell me my application for 4mbps application form was still processing ,activate now will only get 1mbps.
24/8- changed another installer,lucky he is a nice guy,8pm still come to my house to set thing up.>.<"

now waiting for the netbook
