In your application status will plan name will be "Streamyx 384kbps (Cool Unipack)" even though you applied for the 4mbps/2mbps/1mbps?

I applied for 4mbps package but according to stupid TM site I applied for 384kbps

What's the default username/password for the D-Link modem?

I'll share my experience.This is happened at same TM Point branch.

1st visit:Take form & the lady ask me to fill up the unipack form & new line form.
2nd visit:Different lady told me that I need some kind of course structure stating which year I'm in right now from my university.
3rd visit:Since I was lazy to ask for the course structure thing,I thought of trying my luck with the same lady from the 1st visit.Walla!The 1st lady accepted my form without any fuss.She even told me that the installation could take some time since there's lots of application from my area.(Note:This rarely said by TM workers.They always says everything will be done in 7 days)

After 1 1/2 weeks I got my streamyx.Now waiting for the netbook to arrive.What I want to say is different people at the counter have different way of processing the form.If your form wasn't accepted for insufficient data or problem with the year of study,just try your luck with different counter.With some luck your application will be accepted.

To those in 3rd & 4th year,go in the TM point & say that you're in 2nd year & give ur best coolface.Hopefully the counter person will pity u and process the application.

Gomen might come with extra step to prevent sale of this subsidized netbook.Only way I can think of is blacklist the netbook from claiming warranty it there is owners change.(This will require us to register the netbook 1st).

What model & did you get 3 or 6 cell battery?

TM still haven't done my netbook order...

1)Open 192.168.1.1 with your browser.
2)Default username/password for this modem usually is tmadmin/tmadmin
3)Press "Setup" tab
4)At the left side click the "Wireless Settings" then "Wireless Security" tab.
5)Change the security mode to WPA or WPA2 because WEP can be cracked
6)At "Pre-Shared Key" below type your password & your router should be rebooting.You password will be changed after the reboot.

I submitted my form on 30th June

How accurate is the HP delivery date in their "Order Status" site?
My planned delivery date for the netbook is 24/08/2010.

btw I'll be getting HP Mini 110-3004TU too.

Why the heck the delivery take this long?HP's courier using kereta sorong to deliver all the netbook for everyone in Malaysia?

Always remember guys,
Agents usually will wait for lots of people before they apply for you.Even if they apply on your behalf there's chance they misplaced your form or something.

Better apply at TM Point.Some TM Point sucks big time(I've experienced that).Maybe it'll take the certain branch some time to process the application but eventually they will process it for you.And if there is lateness in installation of line you can always check with the branch that you applied or call 100.With agents you can't do that.

Good for you.My streamyx was installed almost 2 weeks ago.But the damn netbook is nowhere in sight.

Did you even bother to read the 1st page?

Go to TM Point and make some noise to the counter person(serious suggestion)

I waited for 6 days.Even that after I went to TM Point and raised my voice at the branch manager to make them process the order faster.
If there's delay in getting the tracking code you should call TM.No point calling HP if they didn't receive any order from TM.

Stinking branch manager said it's their branch policy to not give out confirmation slip.

My netbook delivery date changed to 27th August again

Seems like the process of getting netbook is quite long.

1)Apply unipack
2)Get streamyx
3)TM submit order to HP after 3 working days(Some TM Branch just plain slow in this part)
4)HP Malaysia gets the order
5)HP Malaysia send order to HP Singapore
6)Seems like HP Singapore will wait for large quantity order before shipping items to HP Malaysia
7)Item received by HP Malaysia & delivery names are given.
8)Local courier send out the netbook

If you guys have any delay in getting the netbook it's probably because problem in step 3 or 6.
