yes, confirmed... u can check out the previous versions of this thread, they did mention that it only has 1 speaker on mini 110 models that's supplied through unipack

for those who are using TM's new Dlink 2640B router modems... I recommend you guys to flash the firmware to the original firmware which can be obtained from Dlink site itself (South East Asia version)

I've found out that there are some problems in the supplied firmware (with the TM logo) whereby I can't change the DNS server setting. Even when I've changed it, the connection still goes back to TM's default DNS server.

Another thing would be that there's always a problem disconnecting/reconnecting the line. The modem just won't respond. Would be a problem for using megaupload, rapidshare and stuff which needs to change the IP address / getting out of dead IPs... After flashing back to original manufacture firmware, everything seems to be ok

unfortunately if you were to refer to 1st post, there's no email nor detailed steps indicating on how to extend the warranty period. There is however, a link directed to HP website to check the warranty status

you'll need to pay RM50 to transfer your streamyx line if i'm not mistaken

i've upgraded from 1mbps to 4mbps and was given a new modem.

it's been around 1 month since my upgrade. I think the installer also forgot he gave the modem to who.

possible but it looks like u're not under fast path.
your area might not have enough 4mbps ports though

probably due to your copper line problems
was it raining?
maybe there are some exposed part of the line and some water went in.
or some problems along the line from your house to the exchange
maybe that's why they put u on interleave instead of fast path.

the mode is set by TM itself
Interleave mode supposed to give you a more stable line with better error checking but at the expense of latency.
I think it should not be the cause but u might want to call 100 to complain of your low SNR problem (line unstable) and check if your phone line is noisy or not.

streamyx zone id and password is the same as the streamyx username and password

4 Mbps is RM88 per month, the speed varies... well, at least mine does... =/
to know more, just go to the 4Mbps thread.... don't be lazy...

just go to another TM point and try?
