Nope
Who said so ? ...
I've been using STREAMYX BASIC 1 Mbps Rm88 for past 4 yr
Abt a month ago , just change to BB deal plan
On 31st July , i send application for UniPack package on the same old homeline number
My previous Basic 1mb package got terminated on the 1st Aug
On 4th Aug , the streamyx installer gimme a call for installation of New Unipack package w a free Dlink modem
back online on same day installation ..
Conclusion for this Unipack ,
- no cooling period (1 month)
- no need extra charge (for setup newer wiring for newer homeline number) , just use same old homeline no.
- no penalty chargers for breaking any contract
hai.. may i know wic branch of TM point u went to applied?? ^^

I'll share my experience. This is happened at same TM Point branch.
1st visit:Take form & the lady ask me to fill up the unipack form & new line form.
2nd visit:Different lady told me that I need some kind of course structure stating which year I'm in right now from my university.
3rd visit:Since I was lazy to ask for the course structure thing,I thought of trying my luck with the same lady from the 1st visit.Walla! The 1st lady accepted my form without any fuss. She even told me that the installation could take some time since there's lots of application from my area.(Note:This rarely said by TM workers. They always says everything will be done in 7 days)
After 1 1/2 weeks I got my streamyx. Now waiting for the netbook to arrive. What I want to say is different people at the counter have different way of processing the form.If your form wasn't accepted for insufficient data or problem with the year of study, just try your luck with different counter. With some luck your application will be accepted.
