tried tweezers, but i'm too slow for them. managed to scoop one out with a cut mineral water bottle when it came out in the open today.
i guess there are at least 2 more hiding among the plants...kinda tempted to put 2 dwarf cichlids in. but they'll probably eat up my shrimps too..

Thanks! Hi Otobot, I suggest you manually remove it with hand or tweezer. There won't be many in your tank and they won't spread. So it will be much easier for you to control compared to snails. It is not wise to use biological control as those that kill the nymph will most probably kill all your cherry shrimps. Hope that will help.

One average manual regulator how much? need to budget ... Normal regulator is around MYR80 You basically still need :- 1) 2 check valve ( 1 way valve) 2) tube 3) Bubble Counter 4) CO2 diffuser Cheers

Added on August 31, 2010, 8:57 pmand i want to ask also, the normal tube sell in fish shop can be consider as co2 resistant tubing ady rite? This post has been edited by booby: Aug 31 2010, 08:57 PM

Hi Otobot, Any small fish such as green neon tetra and pygmy rasbora are suitable companions of small shrimps. I, myself, have cardinal tetra co-exist peacefully with green shrimps and yamato shrimps. PS: Green neon tetra's max size is 1", cardinal tetra's is 2" This post has been edited by -MighTy-: Aug 31 2010, 09:38 PM

Hi ppl, im new to this, just started yesterday to get a small tank (W13.7" x L8" x H9") with light and filter, i started the tank with 8 guppy,6 tetra,3 bumble bee,2 cory and 2 Tropical Hornwort for plant, my question is here, is there anything else i need to add into the tank like co2 for plant(how do i do it),soil to grow other plant(where can i get the soil),how to change the water(i heard i must not change the whole tank water as this will make the fish stress), i hope my first tank of fish can survive with such environment....lol
