Yup thats true.. but shrimp is unique...it matches the planted tank environment.. they are gentle too.. compared to fish..
I think nerite snail is the better algae eater |

Hmm.. i can see egg saggle on my orange shrimp... i think both of them are female...no male yet... i wonder that the egg come first or the egg will come after they mate... is there any special requirement such as brackish water.. etc..?

I use dark golden cloth on the back of my tank.. look quite nice too
I warp the cloth around some polystyrene board and stick em to the back of the tank using velcro.. |

I think Nerite snails is the best solution for the algae issue on flat surface..
unfortunately mine is dying because i used the No planaria before... Does anyone know how to treat the water so it is suitable for the snails again.. The algae is building up now |
