auto fails, when like temp very high only it starts changing speeds.

custom fan speed wif MSI AB?..

im using a normal 5850. no msi hawx or anything special.

Seems like u r very new to this..msi afterburner can work with any graphicard,except 4 voltage tweak..try it out..

This is partially imminent, the new fermi chip GF104 (used in GTX460) will be used in the 'GTX475 to replaced the GTX470 which still use the GF100.
But still, I dunno how they will push that GF104 to the point that it will performs faster than the GTX470 due to its limitation, like low SP of 384sp, 256bit bus, and 32rops, etc.

Good news for existing 5850 owners for sure, CF'ing the 5850 is way better in an investment point of view then to upgrade to 5870...Do the math...

Nvidia could put ATi back in it's shadow like old times, but of course still premature to speculate, not until ATi reveals a bit of the HD6000, which has been in secrecy till now...

considering the temperature, power consumption and performance, 5850 still better bang for your bucks

On top of that, being the bang~for~the~bucks for almost 10 months now, from DAY 1 of the launch of this card

10.7 is not good. u should use TWL modded driver for superb performance n stability!!

Is there any new news regarding about southern island? since it will be introduce in october n sale in november...this will pull me off from getting gtx460 now since its better to c d condition 1st...mayb it will force nvidia to drop their price or 5850 will be <Rm800
