im not talking about the hardware. Yes Ati is good at this. But when i play bad company 2 it keeps crashing.. Resulting me to use my laptop instead... Either its bc2 support for ati card or ati driver problem.. Im nt sure..

if u not sure.. how come u blame the card becoz of that buggy game..
need to tweak here and there is normal..

even conflicted directX files also will give u a problem..

May I know.... what is the proper way to uninstall the ATI CCC and driver before update?
I just uninstall it at control panel and I get blue screen and all the way happen after window started awhile.
I just format OS   Just dump so many time also scare will spoil the GC or not ....

1. - Uninstall the the driver..
2. - Restart your pc.
3. - Login to Safe mode..
4. - Use driver sweeper. (can google it to download or find in guru3d.com)
5 - Restart..
6. - Install latest Driver..

this is because you havent change anything yet in msi afterburner, you just open it and thats all. If you change it and click apply, it will stay at your defined setting, it wont downclock itself

I didn't blame the card. I did mention about great ATI cards.. but lousy driver support.

driver prob is normal ler..
how come can expect running fine where newer game came after the released gpu..
sure some of them need to be patched, game also got bugs..
just give them sometimes..

other pc parts also will cause a prob..

No offence here but I didn't get any issues caused by the driver for my old 8800GT. Everything after catalyst 10.4 breaks or slows down a game I play on my 5870 though. Seriously, if ATI can squeeze out performance drivers in 10.3 and 10.4, how could they screw the pooch and let Nvidia catch up with inefficient hardware anyway?

nowaday, i stick tu moded TwL Catalyst. Real performer..

Nvidia has decided to put a lot of pressure on Radeon 5000 series. If all goes well in a few months ATI will launch its Radeon 6000 series, and today, in late August, Nvidia decided to drop the price of Geforce GTX 470.

Geforce GTX 470 was doomed ever since Nvidia launched GTX 460 based on a new GF104 chip as the price performance ratio was great. If we go further back, GTX 470 was never a hot seller as the ones who have waited for Fermi always wanted the more expensive and yet faster GTX 480 and GTX 470 was always a second choice card. Today GTX 470 based on old and quite hot GF100 sells for just under €250 for Asus card, while most of these cards still sell for €275. The timing is great as now is the peak of back-to-school shopping spree.

This looks like a new birth for GTX 470 as this 607/ 838MHz clocked card matches the price of Radeon HD 5850 and performance wise it comes close to Radeon HD 5870. If you care about TDP, then Radeon HD 5000 series is still a better choice, but if you want the performance better than 5850 at the same price, this is the card to consider.

ATI still hasn't dropped its price as Radeon HD 5850 sells for some €240 - €250 while Radeon HD 5870 sells for at least €337 and more.
