If Sapphire 5750 Vapor-X is within your budget, might as well get the normal cooler Sapphire 5770, only about RM50 more expensive.

If you are able to go to Low Yat Plaza due to where you live, PC-Zone is selling Powercolor 5770 PCS+ for RM555 (as from 10/8/2010), that only RM5 more than the normal cooler Sapphire 5770 (RM550).
PCS+ is the equivalent to Vapor-X in terms of these "special cooler"sort of to speak...or properly spoken: 'non-reference retail coolers'...

The 5750 'Vapor-X' version is a bit gimmicky because for low-mid end cards, such cooler is unnecessary since the 5750 is a cool card even with the reference cooler (the stock normal cooler)
So you either get the normal 5750, OR save a bit and get to be very happy to own a 5770. 
Alternately, you can find 2nd hand 5770 at Garage Sales...

That's why i am wondering if there is different btw manufacturer and official ATI? Who knows, the manufacturer twist the driver a bit and work great for their card?

im not talking about the hardware. Yes Ati is good at this. But when i play bad company 2 it keeps crashing.. Resulting me to use my laptop instead... Either its bc2 support for ati card or ati driver problem.. Im nt sure..

im using a normal 5850. no msi hawx or anything special.

Since yours is OEM, I think there's no problem changing to aftermarket cooler like the Artic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo Pro
52C at a noisy level fan speed of 55% at IDLE could be cured by that cooler, prolly u'll get around 40c with almost silent fan noise at IDLE 
And could push to 950/13XX with lower LOAD temp with silent fan noise.

Only cost RM170~ish for that cooler. (i hope you are poisoned  )

can't do with that kinda cooler .. am using a SFF rig so single slot is my only choice

FYI, the Crysis issue (can't fullscreen) I'd encountered it waaay back since I first bought my AOC 24" 2434 back in January using HDMI cable, if you use VGA/DVI cable, there's zero scalling related issue.
Prolly gonna either revert back the drivers or just switch to DVI cable...

11634 for gpu score for 3dmark vantage(extreme setting).., assuming that hd5870 score 9000 marks, the cayman xt is 22% faster than its predecessor. Nice if this true

not a news, but a rumor  , southern island was made to improve tessellation performance, increase of shader performance will be nice...hope amd will deliver with their bulldozer/southern and nothern island

I think I'm gonna kill maself thinking the 68xx was a soft improvement.
It humiliates the 58xx cards!
I feel I don't care anymore for the recent  underperfoming drivers, their hardware pwnd big time! 

I think it's a wise move for 58xx owners to sell their cards and use that money well saved to get this 6 series, the problem still remains of what is the rough launch dates of these new cards..
dont wanna jump the gun too soon by selling it now and the 6 series to come out late...

Don't know whether I should sell my 5870 and get 6000 series or I just crossfire it. I might worry the price of 6000 series is not just RM1400 =____= as last 5000 series.
