Yes I am also waiting for 5850 to touch the RM800 line...
Long waited with my onboard 785g for it...





Luckily did not buy it @ RM950... or 5770 that time...

Anandtech reviews, GTX460 is damn close to the 5850
Just lose out more in 2560x1600 resolutions, lower than that, it is very close smile.gif

ATi definitely will take action to against GTX460. While nVidia mean GTX460 is to compete 5830, ATi will change ur mind to: 5850 is to compete GTX460. hohoho... (let no one card(nvidia) survive on market field = Earn & Win)

I'd love to see that. Unless ATI has been building up a large cache of cards, I think ATI would show some restraint in the new prices. While ATI has already been making money on the Cypress for about three quarters now and should have the reserves to fight price war, the GF104 is actually smaller than the Cypress. Nvidia's manufacturing cost should be lower than ATI's by a few percentages.

I want to ask where got sell Palit Geforce GTX470(LOL, in ATi/AMD Thread)? Cycom got no stock until next Wednesday. Sad. Sad.
Since Cycom can offer RM 1128 for Palit Geforce GTX470, I guess Palit Geforce GTX460 will be around RM 690(or something like that)?
