never use previous driver coz this 5770 i bought in 1 week. Just install new CCC.
before this, mine is Palit 4870..

then probably it is the limit set by the firmware of the card, and that what it is recognized by CCC

Some manufacturers had set their GPU firmware(BIOS) differently.
So, you might not have so much of OCing headrooms via CCC.
Use 3rd Party Softwares like MSI Afterburner.

btw i just realize if he change from 4870 to 5770, isnt that a downgrade in terms of performance?

if like 1-2fps different.. not sure that called downgrade where can have plenty more features..

Shouldn't be so much difference in terms of framerates but downgrade the energy consumption la.. noise also perhaps??

but hd5770 have lower power consumption. biggrin.gif

Do take note though they have changed the naming scheme. HD 5770 is now called HD 6870 and HD 5750 is called HD 6850.Same goes for other model..IINM smile.gif

u meant 6770 to 6870
and 6750 to 6850..

i thought 18th they just want to announce the 6 series model..

Naming Scheme is used to mislead and attract costumers.

AMD/ATi had done 2 things currently:
a.) Naming from ATi Radeon into AMD Radeon.
b.) The GPU that suppose to call as Radeon HD6770 will now named as Radeon HD6870. The Radeon HD6870 will be named as Radeon HD6970.

Still the shrouded design... one would think they can have at least a quieter alternative..

So 6870 is supposed to replace the 5870 now?

got two DP?..can support 4 LCD ka?..regretly not much of LCD got DP..samsung or other hot model LCD should make one instead of higher contrast and quicker response time..LOL..

that's suppose to be mini-HDMI.. not DP..

the naming is to make the line up much simpler..
i believe their using the name to show that it's better than the previous series..
