XB500 is comfy. I do agree that it doesn't completely drown out the details la. I think the bass is very hard...tuk tuk lidat, not that natural. Anyway, it's still a good pair of BASSY headphone! Hahahaha..

O ya...am thinking of getting UE700 in the future... any other IEM which is closer to the sound signature of the UE700?

Recommend me a gaming headset...

-currently have nothing,no sound card,using on-board one...
-gaming mostly and for music when im not gaming...
-surround sound,does not need a sound card(headset have own 1),comfort is a definite must.
-budget is rm350-rm550,no more but can be less...

i have done my own research and 2 headsets caught my interest,they are the razer megalodon and creative sound blaster arena...

this is my first time buying a headset of this price range so sound quality wise anything will be an improvement at this point

Anyway, I've been wondering, has anyone tried SonicGear HP800 or HP600 before? Hard to find demo unit for SonicGear since it's cheap... I owned SonicGear HS555 ( Krypton II ) previously, it sounded good.. clear (I can hear every detail in the music) , good bass (but not great)... Didnt last very long tho, after 1 year broken... but because it's cheap, kinda worth it... they have earned my trust in the brand... so i hope some1 can tell me if the hp600 n hp800 sounded better or worse...

own sonic gear HS800 before. sound very bad if compared with audio technica ATH-M30 and beyerdynamic DT231.

I'm looking to buy IEM for me and my GF and need your recommendation. At the moment, I'm looking at UE SuperFi 5vi. That one is a steal since it is roughly RM200 cheaper than retail price in any shop in KL or PJ.

- Budget is roughly RM500 per IEM.
- Device is mainly for iPhone so microphone, control buttons and volume control are crucial.
- Usage is mainly music and movies. We listen to all types of music: jazz, rock, r&b, hiphop, pop, bossa nova, instrumental, oldies, etc.

Can anyone recommend me a noise cancelling earphone/headphone which is wireless, not too bulky and sound more for clarity not bass. My budget is towards the low end models. I want the noise cancelling for when I'm in the aeroplane, not too bulky so it is quite mobile and wireless so I can lie down etc. and watch and listen to the TV using it.

im sorry i did not make myself clear enough in my previous post.

WS50 is definitely less than RM300. So far I only found 1 shop selling it in Malaysia and that's in Midvalley(one of the shops in I.T. world opposite the CD shop)
I auditioned it in Hongkong and it was pretty decent, though the clamp was a little too tight for my liking.

If you can get someone to get it for you in Hongkong, it's less than RM300 in the most renowned audiophile shops there.

Most of you guys are reccomending IEM, but if I still prefer a wireless noise canceling headphone what would you guys recommend?

Do yourself a favor and get yourself the legendary KSC75. I still have one unit in my inventory if you're REALLY interested, which I was planning to keep for personal usage actually. Don't be surprised to have others recommending the KSC75 too.

i believe ksc75 good for a first pair headphone... first pair cans will set the par for the taste since we tend to compare the sound signature with other cans later.... for me ksc75 is exceptionally good for its price vs performace ratio.... go for it...later upgrade abit by bit until you reach stax lol
