I am noob in Earphones, so i need advice and some clarifications from pros here, i wanted to get a pair of ear phones for my mp3 player, budget RM200~300, i am looking for clarity, and of coz.. if comes with good bass it will be really good.

I have been reading this thread from page 1, and i find that the brand you guys were discussing are realy different from the conventional brand like sony, philips, panasonic and bla bla...

i see from the reply, i think the one that siuts me is Shroom EB, but i am not sure of the performanc ecompare to the conventional brand like sony MDR-EX300SL/B, philips SHE-9800 (my fren intro) they are of the simillar price range.

can you guys tell me how well does these kinda brand work:
- Hippo
- AKG
- Shure
- Crossroad
- Sennheizer

would like to get a pair of good ear phones within my budget.

Bought my second pair of UE 10fvi, old one i gave to my dad. Still one of the best iem's for me at that price. A great product.

I'm reading mixed reviews. Some say that the bass covers up(A LOT) other sounds quite a bit. Some say they can hear things they've never even heard of in their music when using the Atrio.

So which one is it, does it reveal details or cover them up?
Nevertheless, I'm still buying one next year.    I'm getting myself one of the bass kings of IEM!!

as i remembered clearly, sony product mostly are bassy stuff... and in terms of quality, ifrogz wont be enough to satisfy my needs (i used to owned ifrogz earpollution earphones) and i never heard audio technica T22 before...

if u have budget around rm200, i suggest u to go and buy Audio Technica M30 (around rm200++), a monitoring heaphones that are excel in clarity or sennheiser HD201, a laidback sound signature of sennheiser for only around rm100++

well... the price for the phones+shipment if u buy directly is almost the same... i dont see the point buying 2nd hand for a new price lol!

Sennheiser IE 7 ... i have one .. the quality is really good..maybe some ppl may complain abt the way we wear it. its shape is a bit weird .. may not feel comfortable for some of us
