Hi guys, Looking to buy a pair of headphone, budget around £80 or below (approximately Rm 400) - For laptop use most of the time (movies/ gaming/ music) - source (mp3, not sure what is 'flac', if somebody could explain a bit to me that would be best ) - type of music listen to (jazz, slow rock, sometimes some pop songs, it would best best if you guys would recommend a headphone which is good for most genre ) - personal requirements like type (closed, open, cirumaural, IEM etc) <-- Not really sure as never use much of headphone before, any recommendation This post has been edited by SunofaBeach: Sep 1 2010, 04:23 PM

QUOTE(rxy @ Sep 1 2010, 07:26 PM) @SunofaBeach: FLAC=Free Lossless Audio Codec,MP3 is lossy format..FLAC is like more towards CD quality. the kind of music u listen to,MS 1 would be good. Open = headphone there got holes,so that the sound can leak out.. Closed = vice versa, then won't disturb people Circumaural = if i am not mistaken,is full headphone which fully covers ur ear. iem=in ear monitor, earphones which fit inside ur ear canal. Thanks for the info Added on September 2, 2010, 4:50 pmQUOTE(windboy @ Sep 2 2010, 12:37 AM) you could try on alessandro MS1, Senheisser HD515, shure SRH 440 jaben do have ksc75 on3 and hippo safari, you can go for audition for free =) Okay I will have a look at the spec This post has been edited by SunofaBeach: Sep 2 2010, 04:50 PM
