obviously no lah. But a good pick up gives you a sense of satisfaction and its a joy to drive. Seriously driving the nhc in those small small housing area roads is a nightmare. Everytime you stop and you step the gas, you can feel like the engine is out of breath. And during this period, can see the petrol meter gng down very fast.

So this low torque at low rpm is annoying. I rather they spread the torque equally over the gears instead of keeping it all to the higher gears.

And bcuz of this low torque at low rpm, going up even a slight slope requires some effort. You really need to press the gas hard then onie the car start moving faster up the slope.

The only time this car excels is on long straight highways whr the engine is quiet and the car is stable and theres torque at higher rpm.
Overall after 1 year 4 months with the car, would say everything else is ok except the engine and the gearbox which in my opinion is really crap. Cant even chg gears properly

Guys, how does the City's rear reclining seats works? Mine is E spec but it won't recline? Any idea?

see there is 2 pieces of plastic behind the seats which are recline able? push it down (the one that you're planning to recline) on both sides of the seats there, there is a lifter. lift it up and push your seat down with your force/ weight. and that's it.

It is GuangDao LV voltage stabilizer.

My reason of wanting to have better pick up? To catch the next traffic light before it turns red. Everytime the pick up is so slow, the traffic light here turns red when I was around 50m near it And I have to wait ALLLL over again

Hi Kevin, fully agreed with all your writing above which is what I wanted to express (except with the "crappy" part).

Actually I do feel the NHC pick up is not that bad. It's better than my old WIRA and Myvi. Remember, it is running on 16" unlike VIOS's 15".

S spec is 15 inches

Not exactly true. It only applies for the initial 0-60kph or so. Thereafter, it's very smooth.

u want a drag race...get a higher cc car or get a light car like kancil. Then you will get good pickup.

Driving mentality in Malaysia is really bad. People just want to cut queue and stop people cutting queue. Any hole can fit car...sure "masuk" only. What is the point? It's just a culture. Drive in US or Aus, you will feel the difference. No rush here and rush there.

That is why you see lots of bumps on the road. To stop people from driving fast. So, who should you blame for all the bumps around? The people who just want to accelerate only loh...

Agree. Everything on this car is ok except the gearbox during low speed... really like pulling a cow

Got myself some deep scratches on the front bumper when negotiating a narrow corner some time ago. Wanted to send for spraying but she says no. Save it up for more scratches first in the future. My careless mistake...

She has a B170 at home with more scratches so I can't complain much.

my also same got this sound.. biii n some steel sound.. but the steel sound solve cause i tighted the infront bonet some skru... now i face a few sound when wanna pickup the air con will got some weird sound like breathing.. just only when pick up.... other else ok....

Got my NHC tinted for a fraction of VKool price.

do share more... my plan was to go ecotint this thursday.. open to other options of price & quality is good =)

Hi all, my first post in this section, just wanted to ask you guys whether you all experienced water leak in the a City?
There's a pool of water in my backseat after heavy rain, the weird thing is the seats are all dry, the puddle is only on the floor and only on the left side area. So if any of you can help diagnose feel free to help.

Best way is to diagnose it yourself.
Spray the car with water and see where is leaking.
Doors, bottom, top, etc.

Got it done @ CareKool. Their product is from US. 4 side mirrors + rear window is 75% heat rejection while f/wscrn is 80% hr. Cost me RM650. CareKool had 9 branches all over Mlayasia. U may google it 2find more abt this co.

lol...all tinting also say they are from US. Best is go for reputation.
