Bro 1282009, have you got your car fixed? Actually the front rim with rust isn't a problem. Honda did not apply a layer of coat on the front brake disc. That is why it tends to show rust after you wash your car or when it rains. All City encounter it unless you're willing to change to aftermarket brake discs.

About the front mud flap area, this is a problem. It shouldn't be misaligned like that. Proceed to your SC & get it fix. smile.gif I do think it's a minor problem. All new cars tend to have some problem with it. That is why all car manufacturers have this 1000km service routine. It's to allow owners to identify the problem & get it fix during that period ;-)

Thanks for the support. I'm ok with the rusting on the discs, no issue. As for the mud flap area, guess what the SC told me? In order to align the area, it will need to be aligned from the front light area till the door area (driver), end up they just tried to tighten it but the gap is still there & it's not really aligned. I will check again with another SC when my 5k service comes.

white fumes? Correct me if I am wrong but that is the sign of water humid in your ekzos. This usually happen when you cold start the car. Especially after rain or in cold places.

according to my fren.....early in the morning if ur car has the sign of water humid, it is a good sign to show that ur engine is in good condition......
if u wan to test it, after start ur engine early in the morning, put a piece of paper at the ekzos there...this is all according to my fren, and i cannot confirm how true it is.... doh.gif

thanks for the info. I remember last time someone told me white fumes means the engine masuk air. haha. not sure if it's true, cos now i'm getting high FC, averagely 10.3km/l. Most ppl say it's quite unbelievable as they know NHC should get around 15 ~ 17km/l. Anyway, hope to sort it out when I send it for 1st servicing. Does changing the motor oil from semi to fully synthetic can improve the FC? I browse thru the pages in this forum, lots suggest it's the way you drive. I agree, but i hardly do sudden braking and tailgating ppl.

I too notice some of the assembly quite shoddy, especially the mudguard. It's quite loose.

think that u can argue with the SA.....as what she promise ytd and today she say she cant do it for u.....as u are happy with the rebates she offer u then oni u book on the spot, right? but then why today she say she cant make the RM500 rebates and u cant get back ur booking fees.....

if still cannot.....talk to the manager....

which branch u placed your order? just tell her to see her manager, no way she dont refund you. its up to that particular honda branch not her own business. also, u can argue with her stating that her initial promises that leads you to placed your booking, or else u wont even bother, she is the one who broke the promise first, so damn her!
