i think it's not tweeter which is too bright, it's the amp instead. cause i pair the M3300 satellites with other 'neutral' system and it's really good. instead, when i pair other satellites to M3300 it become extremely bright. i have to use my M3300 down-firing now, otherwise it will sound too bright.

i was about to ask you the same question... lol i noticed my 'modded' M3300 getting quite warm at the heatsink part... even on idle also.

Double check again it is really sound better than before now, not my ear burn in...

I never had warm during idle on the power amp side, only the op-amps, felt like around 50ºC when turning on. I thought it was small short circuit something but sound no problem and once i swapped to OPA2107 it runs cool.

Maybe we had our amplifier entering class A mode

i'm use M3300 now but i think i wan upgrade anbody can recommend me .. how come i see so many ppl sell C3 is no good ? buget Rm 300~400 + some

hmm... IMHO... it's good. but not good in a sense that it's an 8" woofer... but some well designed 5.25" or 6.5" woofer can outperform it anytime. Clarity wise, no complaints, it's using opamps that produce bright and sweet highs, but weak on bass... that's why

C3 to me is a good speaker, using NE5532 which sounded not bad and it even use on some audiophiles equipment. The bass is quite powerful to me but i wonder why a lot ppl said it too weak

What about the S330? seems can be around your budget.

I think everyone feel the bass is too weak because the woofer harder to play out deep bass.
as i know logitech woofer can play deep bass nicely but no mid bass

the tda7379 in the c3 has the 'boombox' sound attribute lor
probably sounds good only when you are driving with the windows down =)
