Edifier I went to the InterAsia office in Sunway Damansara yesterday to get my S530D repaired, they said they no longer repair this model as they don't have the spare parts for it

Care to clarify?

I bought the S350DB to replace my S730D back in 2021, no regrets. The S350DB sounds good, and on the upside the subwoofer takes up less space now (more room for my legs).

By the way, what happened to your S730D?
My 10 year old S530D just refuses to turn on after the fuse blows up. Replacing the fuse does nothing too

InterAsia refuses to repair it too despite me willing to pay for the repair
And Edifier gives conflicting answer. Dia cakap boleh, tapi Inter Asia cakap tak boleh

Loved that speaker. My best speaker ever when compared to all the shitty Logitech speakers I've used before

S730D stopped turning on, so I had it fixed as the power chip is faulty. Then after 6 months, the left channel started buzzing 😅. Decided to retire it and buy S350DB.

And guess what? The day S350DB arrived I tested the S730D it seems to not have the noise now tsk. So it’s current stored away until I have plans for it.

Nevertheless, I’m no longer a bass head like I used to several years back 🤣 S350DB is tighter and brighter compared to the S730D which sounded muddy compared to the S350DB.

Although I still want some clarification from Edifier

I'm thinking if the S530D could be repaired, I'm gonna use it for my master bedroom TV since I already have the S350Db for my gaming PC

Sorry, just checked it with our service department, the S530D has been discontinued. The parts we have are already used up and the model has already been discontinued so we are unable to help you with your repair.

Can advise if there are any other shops that can repair my S530D?
Really want to use this speaker again

Just got this today. Loving it. Definitely better than the S530D

PS: Edifier thank you for listening to our advise about switching your courier. DHL eCommerce is definitely better than Poslaju. I got this in only 1 day after you shipped

any difference internally between s350db and s351db?

so far the only difference i know of are the bluetooth upgrade and remote difference.

Just get the S350Db. The difference is not that much
And S350Db is on promo right now for only RM869 in Lazada

S350Db - RM869
S351Db - RM1,385

That's an RM516 difference

yeah saw the price difference, that's why seeking advice to see if there's any difference aside from what i listed, else rm516 difference doesn't justify a newer controller and upgraded bluetooth

Mine is S350Db, not S360Db
Loving it. The sound quality is definitely better than my faulty S530D

Although I miss the control panel on the S530D. The control panel has an LCD panel which makes it easier to control everything
Would prefer if Edifier stayed that way with all their speakers. Really don't understand why they chose to eliminate the control panel an all their new speakers. Perhaps to cut cost?

I'm looking for this two Edifier desk speakers.

R1280DBS or R1855DB

Main purposes:
1) Connect to TV for improve TV sound system
(Not consider soundbar)
2) Connect with bluetooth and listion nice mp3 music

Any expert here can give some comments ?
Any shop at Johor Baharu that can recommend do have demo set for testing?

R1855DB have better performance thanR1280DBs.
