Wanna ask something, can i use my Byond decoder with old Astro dish? I dont see any difference with the old dish versus new dish, just the color only.

No problem. Beside color, diameter also different. Old dish is 60cm, new dish is 65cm.

@rewlie
yes your can use old dish with astro byond box

but watch out for the installation which share single dish with 2 decoders through splitter, it may interfere with SD channel reception

With the success of HD, Astro is planning to come up with yet another value-added service soon -- programmes in three-dimensional images.

So maybe astro also will introduce 3D technology 4-5 years later.

Not to my experience. I can still see flickering on Sony's 3D active glasses system. I see flickering in all first gen 3D system actually.

Read the paper in the morning

Added on July 7, 2010, 2:44 amAstro is doing a 3D screening right now of the game for the press and will broadcast the Final in 3D LIVE to the B.yond decoder.

Naturally you need a 3DTV connected to B.yond to experience it

u mean the press already watching 3D Semi-Final Uruguay vs Holland?
Wow..that Holland goal would have been so alive in 3D!!! drool.gif

Well..even in the UK, Sky Sports are only showing selected matches in 3D for the upcoming EPL season..
N that also is in some pubs..
They will gradually be rolling out the 3D features to their customers home this year..
So dont know when Malaysians will be ready for it.. rolleyes.gif
