I m using the ppl widget htc prepared, quite same with the window mobile i think~~
you can search by typing their name or search in group~~
how fast you want??
the only thing lack compare to winmo is no speed dial because of no keypad , that's all...
but still you can have your favorites numbers on the widget~~

what do you want to do after u search the contact?
if u want to search to make a call, tap the on-screen phone button to search! read the description and try it yourself.....it's extreamly smart! even better than my N73 IMO... long key press on the contact there will pop up extra option for u too... only bad point is u might accidently call the person if u din tap properly (eg. shaky hands)...haha

if you want to edit your contact's profile, use the search button, there is a filter function for the search so that it won't show every other thing...

Added on June 3, 2010, 11:21 ami notice that at u can call out the on-screen keyboard anytime you like by long key press on the menu button... but since u did not select any text box for it to enter, anything u type will be shown on top of the keyboard and it wont go away until u delete it via the keyboard too... wonder wuts this function for... maybe to let u type a temp keyword while u search ur screen? hmm..

Ha ha! Didnt notice that, cause i have the people widget as my speed dial already, so i dont think i need that~~
but quite easy to make mistake call from the widget~~i made a few calls out without the notice or intention to~~
so now i lock my phone once i finish with it, to avoid the sensitive touch and to save power~~

u should try out the keypad.. it packs alot of features there...i dump the people widget after i found out on the powder-ful features on the on-screen keypad ler...

lol.. havent get a casing for my fon yet... put it into my pants and my tights can still scroll the fon's screen... got to make sure the screen face outside liao...

i think klcc maxis branch got.. if not mistaken today is the last day they open htc booth over there.. or was it yesterday? anyway, their main office just 10 meters away from d booth so u wont be walking too far I guess if the promo booth has already closed...
