I believe if you're already subscribed but not tied to any contract, it's OK. If you're tied to a contract (eg. the iPhone plans) then you're not eligible. In your case, you're a standard user who have subscribed to voice and data plans (no contract). So I believe you're lucky.

I wanted the phone so badly but I'm tied to an iPhone contract (when I bought the iPhone for my husband). sad.gif

FYI - I also just check with regular HTC shops. They haven't even gt their stocks yet until next month when Maxis' exclusivity ends. I was hoping that if they got stock oredi, I might persuade them to sell earlier to me. But no luck.  sad.gif

Also, they have SG SIS sets selling for RM 2150 (price offered to me), which is quite cheap, I believe. Thinking...

SG set can get RM19xx.00. Try to nego more...

The USB to Micro USB cable for charging our phone via PC / laptop has no voltage and etc, so any cable (even Nokia's or Blackberry's) will work just fine with our Desire, yes?
*
yes, currently I'm using nokia usb cable.

Hi,
I'm keep changing handphone every hmm.gif ... at least 3 month. brows.gif
So I like my phone to be good as new...
So that I can trade it later. biggrin.gif

And I notice that our "desire" didn't wake up when received SMS.
We needs to press the power button before can slide the "unlocked bar"
so this apps SMSAwake will wake up your "desire" drool.gif
so that you no needs to press the power button.

Save money, dont buy. The multitouch is probably a hardware limitation, will never be fixed on Desire. How about Samsung Galaxy S, iPhone 4G or HTC Evo 4G? Dont get Desire la, old model liao, so many bug also - damn sien.
