Feedback by z3r0717 on the update:
QUOTE(z3r0717)
btw, i update the new software version already and my wi-fi is still fine.. phew...
seems like the htc apps is indeed more smoother even the leap view..

NOTE: Software update nothing to do with froyo
Just updates the htc stuff and etc

The battery indeed improved a lot!
I had my wifi on and went to sleep. next morning, the battery didn't even drop much..
In the JuicePlotter app, in the graph, the line just went straight, slowly going down....
from midnight 2am to 11am, percentage drop like 1-2% only, of course in standby mode..
when i just got the phone, it drop 20% over the night, and then 5% the minimum, now 1-2%..

For now, we can only get free apps.

Android 2.2 (Froyo)?
Am I able to upgrade to Froyo at the moment?
There isn't any official upgrade right now. HTC is currently into it to make sure Sense UI is compatible with Froyo. The only to do it now is to root your device (at your own risk!) and install it without Sense UI.

both are more or less the same phone. nexus will have faster updates, no local warranty tho. desire has 2 years local warranty but slower updates.

at rm1499 (take the lowest data+voice plan), buying the desire is a no brainer.

i feel that sense ui is much better looking than stock android ui, altho you can make it look about the same with additional apps/widgets/etc or you can download alternative home screens gui via the market (e.g launcherpro = mixture of both stock android ui + htc sense)

Congrats v2.
Hope less people spams it compared to the v1.

Anyway, Desire has Sense UI.
But Nexus with Froyo would be more appealing and Nexus can flash Sense UI inside biggrin.gif
Just my little poison to spread around.

nexus one vs desire? both are great phone!

Sense UI is awesome, and while Nexus One can have that too, currently it's not as stable as Desire itself.

but the disadvantage of HTC Sense is, it makes the update is a lil bit too slow for HTC to come out with..

u wont regret no matter u choose N1 or Desire! smile.gif
