just called hp just now ... it seems like TM has placed in its order now pending for HP for processing which only 2 days later they (HP) can give me the web order number

hi guys

i went to upgrade from 512kbps package to the 1mb package yesterday and got the confirmation slip.

Then when i checked for my order just now at the sams website, it shows that my appointment date is 25th may 2010 (which is today) at 9pm together with the technician's name and ic number. The thing is, i have not received any call regarding the upgrade. So should i stay at home quietly tonight and wait for the technician to come even though he did not call me or anything? Is there any way we can get the contact number of the technician since i already know the technician's name? thx

Yeah me too, takes me 16 days before my form is sent to HQ for further process...

Bear it in mind, during the so called 30 days cool down period, your form is still at TM Point, it isnt at HQ there...
HQ = Headquarters, heck they will keep counting the cooling down period remained...
So, if you want to process to be faster, call the HQ, not the TM Point biggrin.gif

He'll call you like a few hours before your appointment. If he doesn't then you should call him. Whoa 9PM appointment, that late?

err, the slip that they gave me after i have settled my registration..i thought it's called confirmation slip? im not too sure though. smile.gif

yeah, it's stated, 25-5-2010 21:00 ...do contractors work that late? lol makes me wonder. so the appointment date is really reliable?

ohh and i dont have his numbers to call him since up to now i still havent received any call from tm or the contractor. thx for the reply

ur slip there got tm customer service number? call them and give them ur homephone num and situation and ask for the contractor/technician hp num... last time they give me the num tongue.gif

they didn't give me any slip when i register my streamyx...
btw,i called hp just now and get to know that my netbook will be delivered in 4days time.
anyway,the HP's receptionist gave me my order number and date the order received(15th MAY 2010) but when i key in the order number and date in the hp order status webpage,it wrote there no order found.
Is it ok?

just checked. nope no contact numbers. i think the slip is actually just a print out from the MIPS website. should i just call 1800889515 to ask them ? thx for the reply

juz call the streamyx installer, asking about can set high sped or me. he siad like a pro . canot la cause this is high speed berukband, i cant do anything la. balblabla..... lol. wat a unlucky met such installer. sad case gonna happened to me. wuwuwu.

I wanna know that is it possible to extend the Telephone Wire by "something socket" ?

Just dont bother to get it capped higher , you gotta check your SNR Margin. If its poor dont bother even , you'll end up more problems then its worth. Unless you dont mind disconnections , erratic behaviour then its okay

Just checked my hp and its stated that its currently in production. So i guess that would take a day or two for them to produce , ship it. Bah I guesss it will by next week then
