hi guys

i went to upgrade from 512kbps package to the 1mb package yesterday and got the confirmation slip.

Then when i checked for my order just now at the sams website, it shows that my appointment date is 25th may 2010 (which is today) at 9pm together with the technician's name and ic number. The thing is, i have not received any call regarding the upgrade. So should i stay at home quietly tonight and wait for the technician to come even though he did not call me or anything? Is there any way we can get the contact number of the technician since i already know the technician's name? thx

err, the slip that they gave me after i have settled my registration..i thought it's called confirmation slip? im not too sure though. smile.gif

yeah, it's stated, 25-5-2010 21:00 ...do contractors work that late? lol makes me wonder. so the appointment date is really reliable?

ohh and i dont have his numbers to call him since up to now i still havent received any call from tm or the contractor. thx for the reply

just checked. nope no contact numbers. i think the slip is actually just a print out from the MIPS website. should i just call 1800889515 to ask them ? thx for the reply

LOL...thx a lot bro...yeah when i look at it again, the numbers beside the technician's name is probably his contact numbers....lol and i thought it was his ic number at first...lol...thx again

hey guys, i called the contractor before the appointment time. the contractor said there is not enough wifi modems at the moment, so he will send the modem to me within 1 week. Then i ask him if it's possible to activate my 1mb line first (mine is upgrade from 512 to 1mb package) and he said yes he would activate it immediately for me.

A few moments after that i saw that the status of my application has been changed to completed from the sams website. so i tested for my speed with speedtest but it's only 0.51kbps to 0.56kbps. i thought they probably need a longer time and decided to try again the following day.

This morning i tested the speed again. It's still around 0.52 to 0.56...is that normal? or should i give them a call? thx a lot
