Citibank did say the starting credit limit for the cash back Platinum VISA is RM20,000 ??
*
Well I saw a piece of circular sort of like that stating the credit limit minimum to maximum for each kind of card. Asuuming cash back platinum is a platinum card then the minimum should be 20k

If I only pay minimum payment for just one month, would that be bad for my credit record? I sometimes swipe for company, but only able to claim it on next month.

Except Alliance Bank's. It is the only bank that give cash rebate on top of points as far as i know.

No. Your credit score will only be tarnished when you do not even make the minimum payment as written in your credit card statement.

Anyway, anyone got the recently launched Citibank cash back VISA Platinum yet ?

So SCB Business Platinum which gives 0.5% cash rebate also doesn't have any reward points?

any freebies they are giving?

Added on June 14, 2010, 11:56 amhsbc ads in newspaper say they are giving rm200 dining voucher if we spend rm500 in a week but no information on their web site...they say the promo start in may already and voucher only for 600 card holders..

this one is a gimmick or real.. 600 surely fully grab by card holders and why not in web site.. also never mention what transaction for the rm500? petrol, online transaction or etc... anyone know?

my credit card had been stoleh..and sadly i had 3 dispute transaction by unknown person..can the 3 illegal transaction be withdrawl from my bill since it is not my transaction...

any experience?

Yes, I experienced an unauthorised transaction more than 3K before. Luckily CC service centre informed me the suspicious act from my CC, so i asked the service officer to block my card. Later, the customer service officer asked me to raise a dispute form. I follow what exactly they told me and every day i called to the CC centre to update on my CC status. I was lucky because in the end i do not need to pay a single cent when i received my CC statement.

I don't do sales but often on the road most of the time on working days. I spend more than RM1K/month for my car and have another 2 cars (wife and children) where average about RM250 per month/each. Therefore I prefer to have a card that have no capped on petrol and AMEX CC serve my needs. AMEX CC the best for petrol as it gives 2.5% cash back and no cap (now AMEX promotion offering 10X MR for petrol which works out to be 5%). I know I always repeat, I pump at ESSO/Mobil which also gives you cash back of 1.5%, therefore for petrol I get total minimum 4% cash back smile.gif

Talking about cash back, AMEX Gold CC gives you 1% cash back minimum for any transactions since it gives 2X MR points and more for groceries & utilities and there is no monthly cap. I use my AMEX Gold Charged Card more often then any other card as I get 3X MR since I enrolled for turbo points. For me personally, this is the best as it gives 1.5% cash back for whatever I charge to the card and there is no cap per month nor expiry date for the points.

Actually One Essential is better

It offers uncapped 1% cash back

If let says for high income group who spend a lot, this is better than others.

Ya it does exclude petrol transaction (but i guess we does not spend that much on petrol right?)

Talking about AMEX, it is the best in terms of cash back but it is not widely accepted in Malaysia
