yes you can. they'd only charge rm10.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
please note that the grace period back then was only for animals without proper documentation.

permit application for animals that come with receipt and cites paper could always be done.

what you have to do now is to remove those pine shavings ASAP (aka tonight) and use old newspaper as substrate while you're searching for new substrate.

pine oils are toxic, and could get into the tortoises' systems through inhalation, consumption (pieces dissolved in drinking water), etc etc.

in short, please get them away from your tortoises.

I dunno why. I bought 4 red ear slider. Three of them died due to soft bone disease. Is it because the water is cold? I try to dried them under hot sun without water. They still died.

Luckily got 1 alive and now grow to 2 inch....

What did I do wrong?

could be because of so many things as you didn't describe the husbandry, diet etc., but the first thing that i could think of is malnutrition (they'd probably didn't get enough calcium/d3).

and leaving turtles under hot sun without water is a big no-no. the dark shell would be a very efficient heat conductor, thus cooking the organs inside.

if you have any photos of the surviving turtle, please upload them here and maybe we could assess what had happened.

malnutrition is confirm 100% because they don't even eat.

Maybe i should put them in warm salt water for 1/2 hour...

Picture not taken yet... the surviving one is very healthy... growing very fast.... i change water everyday...

Hi.. I'm new in this forum. I've been reading all the topic about TTT in this forum, I can see lots of member a big fans of star tortoise. I have some but none of them still a baby .. I've got them 8 years ago .. so all of them grown up already. Right now I don't put them in terrarium anymore just let them run free around the house and garden. Star is not my favorite, I'm more Radiata fan. Because star not as pretty and cute when they grow old. I read about sudden death, and don't know why. maybe I can share some of my experience. I have 3 star and 5 Radiata and 1 box turtle. I have their picture and I will post it soon (after I figure it out how hehehhehehe) . I've got Bearded Dragon too (not a baby anymore too )

Oya about Okra or lady finger, it's ok to feed your tortoise with Okra but it has a high protein, it will cause your tortoise pyramiding fast.

Ask me anything I hope I can contribute in this forum smile.gif
