Hii I registered my Totis already, to be honest at shah alam Perhilitan Im 3rd person who registered with proper borang...with Totis photo, copy ID etc.

Either you keep them under ground or come to them and see what happen. Only some particular cites 1 you can't keep them as a pet, they are not pet, they are endangered which they need to be place at they origin habitat so they can breed them self again.

So ask your self now, you keep them as a pet, can u breed them ?
Forget. About Petshop sale years ago. All was wrong from start so why don't you make it right. I'm also worry if I hand over they maybe sale again to under ground trader.

But you keep them as a pet also not helping your tortoise will survey, coz you also don't know how to breed. You know how to look after.

Anyway...think over it again before register, Perhilitan not that bad if you are come to do the right thing, they are not threatning. Next time just keep non cites pet, much fun...

Do you have history with Perhilitan ? So keep your pet with cites secretly lah... Just be careful.

Star tortoise is Cites 2. Perhilitan maybe consider give you permision. I'm talking about cites 1. That's good some people will breed.. I'm happy for them, good luck for hiding them forever.

Btw any cites 1 like radiata and Yniphora never been listing in Perhilitan imported list.

just be careful lah...I registered isi borang already. You guys make own decision. I believe spirit of law encourage "Pet Keeper" or " Tortoise Lover " to keep Cites 1 tortoise legally.

I you are not or never trade Or selling buying tortoise why you scared to declare ?

I also disagree that they just taken away your tortoise, the ideal is let tortoise lover keep them but all registered with all permit DO NOT SALE your tortoise.

Not fair just taken away tortoise and stop tortoise lover that has been years keeping them, but they not stopping ilegal trader still going in and out, even in the origin country no permitted to export, but in Malaysia available to sale even at pet shop 3 yrs ago,

hahaha...true...You think I can sleep well after I declare ? Whuaha...no. But I relief for doing right thing, I also don't like keep pet ilegal at home..always worry when leave home.

Perhilitan came to my house 2 times, they just do they job that someone reported me. But nothing to rampas, coz I always keep my reptiles legally. If have to keep my snakes with license. I make sure buy them with license. Not taking risk buy without license because cheaper.

I know it's hard decision, make wise one.

Read borang carefully, it's said surat permohonan ijin menyimpan cites animal. It's so clear there, it's like contract declaration of law for cites pet. Because the law hasn't been made with tortoise, now they make it.

If you declared already why they want to raid ?

What Im sad here, we can't share to show picture of tortoise again. People scared to posting it.

Physical evidence also to see how big and size that can tell how old the species has been kept.

Number of tortoise also being consideration to see physical evidence that's make sure you are not traders.

Hahaha... Not that simple assume of individual as traders, they have to prove the person have Petshop, paying business tax or business permit.. That's what we call traders.

I applied Retic tangkap license, I got it simply easy. It just be facing them what you want to your pet to wildlife and just don't brake the rules and regulation.

Size of tortoise very important as evidence you have been keeping for long time. At moment so far I know only few people apply borang at Selangor and deadline coming soon. Hope wildlife consider as well and think clearly how much people has been spending money to buy they tortoise and keep them for years. Sure they won't surrender if there is nothing clear announcement out there.

Tortose lover spend money to all ilegal traders in this country, pay somuch money to Petshop that have permit to sale tortoise. We...as last destination of tortoise being care and look after become a victim.

In US, banned o ilegal traders has been going on for last 15 yrs, Traders !!
But government can't do anything with tortoise that people have been keep before it banned, rather than simply give permit to people willing to keep and breed them, and they are very succesfull.

Anything else I really don't know what Perhilitan going to do, but consider if you are not traders, don't just be fool keeping few hundred ringgit price of tortoise but can't enjoy them with freedom.

I havent got any special letter yet or what so ever permission for Tortoise, but I DECLARED and applied that Borang permohonan. Its permohonan
form, not Surrender form, my friend....

The Retic License tangkap I sudah cancel balik ke Perhilitan...getting bigger and lepas balik kat hutan...

I can't wait to be over... So we can share our tortoise with pictures...I think all should be okey...

Hii....just want to share, I've been worry with my tortoise bottom shell turn in to like this..( no picture...)
But not getting bigger or spread or look like fungal..just like that after I start put him at garden a year ago...

Please anyone know about this what happen...? thanks
