I saw those that intentionally breed turtle with 8 figure, but 2 headed? How to intentionally breed?
*
Find one turtle with that deformity (not that difficult since RES are bred by the millions) and breed it en masse, and you might get several 2-headed F1s and lots of hets, much like the works on color morphs. I'm not sure whether those genes are dominant, co-dominant, recessive or whatever, but one thing for sure is they are hereditary.

Another famous deformity that had been thoroughly exploited is the eye-less turtle. The original turtle had been intentionally bred by its owner many times over despite criticisms, producing more and more eye-less turtle that can be sold for big bucks.

And those 8-figures are not bred, they are molded. No genetics involved, just human greed.

Even after the seizure they are whare-housed in no larger enclosure - as per picture !!

Should someone (SPCA ....etc ) sue the wild-life / Perhilitan for mistreating the seized animals ie housing them in inproper enclosure ??

Anyone willing to take this tortoise as a pet?
I don't really know what this tortoise species is. Since I already had Red slider tortoise.

it's a Cuora amboinensis - Malayan Box Turtle. this species is protected under INTESA, so we don't have much word on possession as it could lead to a 100k fine. (may sound ridiculous, but it is the law)

if you could find some forest reserve nearby, just release it there.

You can always buy from registered seller or shop, they have license to sale tortoise, and makesure keep the receipt.

If you only buy 1 or 2 as pet then it's look like pets...if you buy over 10 or 20 evenyou have license, sure Perhilitan keep on eye on you.

Perhilitan OK if you don't do anything wrong...!!
