I already answered that in my earlier post complete with reference to Act and Section. Guess that I really have to type after all.

Act 686
Search and seizure without warrant
24. Whenever an enforcement officer has reasonable cause to believe that any scheduled species, conveyance, machinery, contrivance, equipment, book, record, document or other article in respect of which an offence under this Act has been committed is likely to be found in or on any premises, person or conveyance and that by reason of delay in obtaining a warrant under section 23 the object of the search may be frustrated, he may without warrant, with such assistance and force as is necessary -
(a) enter and search such premises
(b) stop and search such person or conveyance; and
© seize any scheduled species, conveyance, machinery, contrivance, equipment, book, record, document or other article which may be found and may be evidence of the commission of such offence.

I believe most of us assume that Authorities (Any kind la) need a warrant to break/enter/search private property. Actually, not really. Some ACTs do give provision to certain enforcement team to enter without Warrant. Do take note. The best you can do when faced with such situation (If you are not sure) , Tell the officer you will cooperate and give you a short time to verify their ID. Take a good look at the ID/Authority card, its your right to ask. And then call the respective office to check the validity of the officer. You can also call up a lawyer to check on the power of these officers (on whether they can break in or not without warrant). But then again, that is also subjected to the knowledge of the lawyer as well. Msia has a lot of laws. You will need to read to understand. Finally, pls let the officers in after verification. Else, they can seriously break in.

So while do we that process if verifying, ask someone inside the house to quickly go hide the tortoise. Maybe in the ceiling.

Hii I registered my Totis already, to be honest at shah alam Perhilitan Im 3rd person who registered with proper borang...with Totis photo, copy ID etc.

Either you keep them under ground or come to them and see what happen. Only some particular cites 1 you can't keep them as a pet, they are not pet, they are endangered which they need to be place at they origin habitat so they can breed them self again.

So ask your self now, you keep them as a pet, can u breed them ?
Forget. About Petshop sale years ago. All was wrong from start so why don't you make it right. I'm also worry if I hand over they maybe sale again to under ground trader.

But you keep them as a pet also not helping your tortoise will survey, coz you also don't know how to breed. You know how to look after.

Anyway...think over it again before register, Perhilitan not that bad if you are come to do the right thing, they are not threatning. Next time just keep non cites pet, much fun...

Cheers

says the one who had an extensive history in trading and smuggling CITES animals.

do you think that Perhilitan would be so kind to issue a permission letter to someone with such history, Nur Maya Sari?

what's wrong with Nur Maya Sari ? Is she criminal ? Is anybody jealous with her ?

Are you enemy with your own authority of animal control in your country ? Good luck for it.

I'm not asking you to register, just consider with species you are keeping. Surrender my tortoise it's not mean Im criminal. I'm so sorry for you not to trust Perhilitan.

Do you have history with Perhilitan ? So keep your pet with cites secretly lah... Just be careful.

Her size is slightly smaller than this image I got from the net. She's a tortoise or turtle ahh?> < .. Her face very dry, basically not doing anything..awhile ago, i tried to force feeding her with a plastic spoon but she's still not eating. Once in awhile I'll wet her with water using my cotton-bud and now she's currently on top of a few pieces of cotton (she's on m bed currently). Erm, does pet shop have medicine? is she dying? thanks
