IMHO Hyundai and Kia are in a partnership to increase their market share worldwide they r having a wonderful strategy they won't launch their same segment car together look at Kia when they launch sorento and forte Hyundai launches the sonata and Tucson (sorento-suv forte-c segment sonata-d segment Tucson-small suv) then when Hyundai launch the Santa fe Kia launches the sportage (Santa fe-suv sportage-small suv) now Kia will launch their optima while Hyundai launches the elantra or avante (optima-d segment elantra-c segment) so dis shows that they are not competing but to make Korean cars market presence a continuous one.. Get what I mean although there is no source haha.. It's my analysis.

well, if u see it in Msia then yes the situation can be like u mentioned. But Avante/Elantra were launched in US way earlier, same goes to SG. So it really shows the Distributor of Msia wanna take it in or not.

i think the singaporean already got em! i seen one today all black.. damn! that headlamp will make A4 owner rage! its more "plump" then a civic , look more like insight/prius bodyline but its a head turner for sure.. if only i could snap pics sigh..

I manage to get my hands on the 2011 Elantra and I must say its quite impressive. FC also pretty good if you don't floor pedal too much. Steering's pretty light though.

Correctly priced, its going to sell.
