Agree, even sonata now is lack of stock for demand, recently thier look busy again probably re-stock again but the decide of avante is too slow, many buyer have left waiting and buy forte..... 
IMHO Hyundai and Kia are in a partnership to increase their market share worldwide they r having a wonderful strategy they won't launch their same segment car together look at Kia when they launch sorento and forte Hyundai launches the sonata and Tucson (sorento-suv forte-c segment sonata-d segment Tucson-small suv) then when Hyundai launch the Santa fe Kia launches the sportage (Santa fe-suv sportage-small suv) now Kia will launch their optima while Hyundai launches the elantra or avante (optima-d segment elantra-c segment) so dis shows that they are not competing but to make Korean cars market presence a continuous one.. Get what I mean although there is no source haha.. It's my analysis.
