It will. The hyundai SA told me this car was shown at their undisclosed meeting and um, car show? Kinda forget the details, but vaguely remember she told me it will be around 130-140k otr didnt paid much attention as it was out of my budget, i was more interested in the cheaper new accent laugh.gif

I went over to the Hyundai showroom in PJ yesterday and was told that there's only the 1.6L and 1.8L models coming. No high spec or low spec. Tentative pricing for the 1.6L is RM 90K+ while the 1.8L is expected to be priced below RM 110K. No indications on the launch date though.

But ive started looking closely at the Hyundai Sonata since seeing the pics of the 2012 Camry Hybrid which was quite depressing. Does anybody know when the facelift Sonata will arrive?

I have been getting calls from SA since i dropped my name in the interest list.

According to him, no need fees/deposit since the car is not even reach the shores yet. Just put name and photocopy i/c 1st then once the car launched then only collect deposits.

Cannot be la. It doesnt make sense. How could the difference between a 1.6L and a 1.8L be only about RM 10K?? If thats the case then everybody will go for the 1.8L la so no point bringing in the 1.6L. Tell your SA not to simply say things la.

As i said before, Hyundai PJ said that the 1.6L will be less than 100K while the 1.8L will be slightly below 110K.

That's probably because the price is already cheap. Getting a 2.0L for about RM 94K is a very good price.

they trying to push the i10 badly to compete with lagi best. Previously i saw numerous roadshows on sonata around town.

Alot of budget spend, dunno yield enough profit back or not still wanna bring in Avante then spend money do promos and roadshows again. hahahaha thats why try to delay it 1st imo lol

I see very bad product planning and marketing by SDAC.

Agree, even sonata now is lack of stock for demand, recently thier look busy again probably re-stock again but the decide of avante is too slow, many buyer have left waiting and buy forte..... hmm.gif
