QUOTE(zuhaili87 @ Jul 13 2010, 01:47 AM) LOL! IS IT ?? DAMN! Then what is VIP5 speed supposely to be ??? 0.5MB/s.. or less than 1/4th the speed you're receiving at the moment. Btw, is this the speed you're getting? Because I've only seen this speed on uncapped Unifi accounts. If you're getting 3.0MB/s+ on utorrent you're definitely way above the 20mbps cap.. so your account is uncapped. I'd log into your dir-615 and ensure that the account there is indeed your own and not accidentally left behind by the technician. If its not your own, do not post the username or password here. Whether you wanna tell TM or wait for them to find out, its up to you Enjoy the speed man This post has been edited by rizvanrp: Jul 13 2010, 01:52 AM

10MB/s up/down is easily achievable on these accounts.. but during day time it defaults to about 30-50mbps for some reason.. must be their infra. Lucky guy lol
I'm not using any uncapping methods/bugged accounts because I'm pretty sure it's easy to spot on the ISP side. But once again, this just goes to show how TM is overcharging for this service when these speeds are easily achievable

TMnut should just give us 100mbps at one fixed reasonable price...

It's infuriating. TM needs to lower their price down. We've been saying since streamyx came along. No wonder M'sia have one of the most expensive broadbands. I'd like to hear their reasons.

I heard that maxis already has fibre cables deployed around KL. The only thing stopping them from rolling out their own HSBB is the government. How true this is, I'm not sure.

You can't be deploying 20Mbps FTTH around the country and not have the gateways ready to support it. How true this is, I'm not sure. lol......and how much do u think the government can stop maxis....when the government was the one who asked Maxis to get listed back again... TIME is also the same...usually i think it is the reluctance or the lack of capability for the companies to invest RM12 billion on a project that might require them to fight with another company which have a bigger market share and resources than them.. on a side note.. realised that few days back..there was a company that placed a big cement block..and was pulling some fibre to it...now that cement block is sitting there...covered with a plastic sheet..

Went to Wangsa Maju TmPoint to apply for Unifi but can't. The reason?
They don't have the registration form for Unifi yet /facepalm. He even asked me to go to Setiawang/Ampang Tmpoint.
I just wanted to hit the guy's face (stupid customer service) but lucky there's a small booth beside Wangsa Walk where you can register for Unifi.
