I think maxis will be using its own fiber network and also tmnut's fiber network for hsbb.

Rm100-150 for 100mbps?I know if i live in bolehland it will never happen...

Hong Kong got 1Gbps....local only...international is 20Mbps...

i am sure if TM does it this way...everyone will be happy..100Mbps local...20Mbps international.. laugh.gif

hey i wanna ask rite.. those people fixing beside the road putting the sign "xxx jalur lebar" basically installing the HSBB in the area.. what are they actually doing?

just for knowledge purpose i wanna know..

1. are they installing the fibre optic cables? from where to where?
2. does our home still use the copper wires?
3. how bout to other countries? the existing undersea cables are using fibre optics already?
4. so, the fibre optics cable they install is from the are to where? to the exchange? but they only install one place.. they didn't dig the entire stretch of road?
5. does that mean that from until the exchange is already existing fibre optics but from exchange to house is only copper wire..

my question is.. what are they doing at the exchange (what are they changing?)

I am facing this problem from last week already.
Already checked the cabling, all is plugged in good. Even tried changing new cable.
Reset the router didn't help though.

Have made a report to CS last week, but still didn't sorted.
Called them again just now, he said problem from their side and ask me to wait more.
I already waited for 1 week. GrrrRR!

Is this happen to u guys too or is it just me?

Update: OK now baru settle. huhu.
This is epic fail. X sampai 30min after I close the report, problem comeout again.
Kena buat new report lak tu..xleh reopen previous report.. Demm.[/s]

K, now really settle I think.

Went to Wangsa Maju TmPoint to apply for Unifi but can't. The reason?

They don't have the registration form for Unifi yet /facepalm. He even asked me to go to Setiawang/Ampang Tmpoint.

I just wanted to hit the guy's face (stupid customer service) but lucky there's a small booth beside Wangsa Walk where you can register for Unifi.

Like silenthunter said better call Unifi and check with them your area got Unifi or not if yes they will say "Would like to subscribe now sir?"... FYI i subscribe by phone and walla!! at my home already got Unifi... my neighbor also register Unifi by booth at my house but as to-date not yet being install...kihkihkihkih... and to make sure if you subcsribe by phone make sure your details is correct because they will forward all your details by email for your approval and confirmation.. wink.gif

Hi there, i would like to ask... is unifi worth better than the uni pack? I'm a student and i'm stuck on which package to take..

Also, the most important question is, how would my current fixed line be when i register for unifi? Do i have to change my fixedline number or i can use the old one?

I got my UNIFI installed on saturday, 10/7/10... it took them 1 whole day as the system has not been configured for the HUAWEI GPON (according to them lah).. During their hectic configuration... I am wondering why.. can you believe it.. after entering all the setting & password.. they will click "restore to default" instead of "save setting" or "reboot".. blink.gif blink.gif

BTW, I enjoyed my UNIFI after 6pm of 10/7/10 till 12am 12/7/10... 12.01am 12/7/10 till now... my UNIFI is kaput.... VOIP phone ok. But IPTV & Internet... down big time... I called CS... they ask me to on-off, check cable.. bla...bla...bla... wait.... bla.. blaa....... still same thing...

Well it took them 4 days to come and check my Unifi, but they get the job done. They also mention to me my area don't have enough man power, which I don't know is that true or not.
