Any TM staff can confirm did FAX works in Unifi
*
unifi user here, i can confirm that fax is working. thumbup.gif

They sent 3 different teams over my place and the problem solved after 2 weeks (they claim that im the 1st customer who request to fax thru unifi, thus im lab white rat). Just need a simple setting in the "white box", somehow i cant remember the setting anymore becoz this happened over 2 months ago.

Just ask your technician change the setting and test with your fax machine will do, ask them bring a fax machine when u make an appointment for installation.

So is Unifi really that good? (as compared to streamyx?)

I am subscribed to 1mbps package - but I got 1.5mbps speed with average dl of 150k/s on torrent with unlimited data cap at the moment.

Will upgrade to Unifi benefit me in anyway? I need to fork out another RM40 a month to get the VIP5...

kindly comment on the IPTV please.. because i am looking at terminating my Astro ..

sofar in past 2 years i got 2 PC struck by lightning even thou my lan is with BELKIN protection

although both just killed my motherboard but is terrible experience

if i change to fiber i probably feel alot safer as from my experience lightning only kill via tel copper line but never via electric power.. at least for me

Want to ask also, my tel number is listed as one of the new area where Unifi is available. But I did not recall seeing TM guys doing any maintenance work around here.....

How does Unifi work anyway? could the cable be underground?

It seems that they work even during midnight... notice there were several guys were pulling the cable underground yesterday midnight... if my picture above is Unifi cable, then they must be the unifi cabling contractor

iptv, in my opinion, better not terminate your astro..

channel selection is suck, in term of iptv quality, for now i think is ok n good..

but the content is something is thing useless.. i only view iptv when rainy (no astro) or i wanna see the movies available in vod (video on demand- mostly old n not box office movies)

most of the time, i switch of my iptv.. save electricity.. smile.gif
