We are in the same boat, except that my HDL is a lot lower than yours which is worse!

Ouch bro.
well its frustrating on my end as i thought i was getting healthier while cutting and watching diet and all.
my last med check up was 2 years ago, it was ald high back then. so i was expecting it to drop. but it went UP instead. -.-"

Family history plus evidence of a hyper responder. Stay away from yolks but the egg whites are totally fine if you need to extra protein.
*
After u mentioned hyper responder in the last post, i was really suspecting that too. I'm gonna stay away from yolks for the next 3 months and see how that goes.
sigh... how depressing. i love egg yolks. the sight, the taste.... oh well.
Thanks alot bro.

QUOTE(kurtkob78 @ Apr 27 2010, 07:41 PM)
Neek do you eat beef. Try reducing the beef and egg yolk for now. Eat more oat because it is said to reduce cholestrol. take it morning and after workout only if you are cutting. Cut high GI food and saturated fat.

Salmon contains omega 3 right ? I tot it's good for you.
*
I eat beef only sparingly as its more expensive than chicken. BBing is ald expensive as it is tongue.gif
i only eat beef 1-3x a week.
Already taking oats, but thats in small amount for breakfast.

I was planning to start bulking in 17 days time. so with this in mind, its gonna be tougher. i guess i have to eat lots of clean food while bulking this time around. zzzz...
but perhaps thats a good thing.
Just to be safe, i better cut down a little bit on the fish oils too...
Thanks guys.

Finally got out of the sorry-ass clubhouse gym I was going to before and started going to this new gym in my area today. Finally, proper equipment!

Yeah. Above Domino's at the shoplots. Um, there's a squat rack, Smith machine, benches, decent amount of plates and dumbbells, and quite a number of cable machines and a couple of treadmills.

Hi guys, i would really need some advise here.

I started off with 50kgs, 175cm about 1 1/2 years ago. I'm at 63-64kgs now. I started by changing my diet and doing Rippetoe workouts.

It worked well for some time and then i continued the compound workouts but i added some extra workouts. After a while i found no results and i hardly feel pain the next day. My goal is to real 70kgs.

Diet for now:
Breakfast: 1 cup of nescafe + 4 pieces of bread with peanut butter/jam/butter or cereals with milk + 2 tablets of Seven seas multivitamin + 2 half boiled eggs
Brunch: None
Lunch: Mixed food with at least 1 meat + vegetables
In betweens: Cereals with milk and 1 scoop of whey before gym
Dinner: Mixed food with at least 1 meat + vegetables + 1 sccop of whey if workout day
Supper: None

I'm trying BSN truemass currently but i don't really see any difference. Weight is more stable than before but i hardly see any gains. I take 1 1/2 scoop before gym and 1 1/2 after gym. I'm not taking whey for the moment since i'm taking truemass.

I'm not too sure whether it could be because of my lifestyle too. I go to gym almost 6 days a week. I don't do the same body parts the following day. Could it be over training since i'm there 6 days? Besides that, I play golf on Saturday and join 1 hour of hip hop on Sundays in the gym.

Any advise on how i can improve? flex.gif

Thank you. notworthy.gif

The chance of undereating is more like to occur than the chance of overtraining.

Here's a hint. My girlfriend eats more than you. This is not intended to be insulting but seriously, she does.

Almost all your meals have insufficient protein in there bro. Right now you're eating just roughly 3 meals a day. My minimum amount of meals a day are 4, normally 5-6. If i can push it to 7, I would but life isn't optimal for that i know. We have lives to go on with. But I'm sure you can do better than this.

Where's your supper? Chicken and rice is a good alternative. Healthily cooked. And your mixed rice, more meat.

WHAT?!
Saturated fat is the one affecting your cholesterol level. Not omega 3 fatty acids.
Omega 3 & omega 6 fatty acids are ESSENTIAL fatty acid. You get malnutrished if you don't have enough of them.
