as for me, nope.. coz the higher htt goes, rams need deviders [n low ones too]
n here, the mem controller plays major role
since my system cant run 200:133, from 1:1 ->200:166 -> 2:1
n this produced a bad result [at htt310 n above]

to 754 users, can somebody help me and lend a spare proc?? i need to test whether my proc is the one giving me problems or something else

if the proc didnt stable at any clock look like the mem controller is dead.
but dont look at that side... still many things to consider... mobo, psu?

At the same speed, same timings, and without dividers, a higher HTT will give you higher benchmarking scores. You probably won't notice anything in apps/games.

well at first i o'c at settings 8*300 wit vcore 1.65V and vdimm 3.0V. then a few weeks ago i got program crashes, thought it was the vcore so i increased some more.

the i again got problems with crashes... the increase vcore some more, still no dice. then i pull back to stock, that's where the nitemare starts i couldn't get into windows at all, even with fresh installation of windows. so i sent my rig for checking at robyncom. they said the cause was from too much as5 that it got onto the surface of my proc, making some contact on the smd... then problem solved so brought back. then i noticed it was running at 4*200 at vcore 1.0V.... i remembered that when u put dtr on default it will run at those settings. so i pushed vcore to 1.5V and 9*200 and got the same thing bsod as before...

that's y i wanna borrow a proc so i can really confirm its my dtr that's gone to the grave

If only i have s754 rig...
maybe u could try putting ur proc into someone else mobo..
that should help, u can PM those with s754 rig...im sure they would be glad to help, but im afraid u have to post the proc to them...

try find lerr nearby one. then, give gaji lorr to them. aheks..

problem is i don't know anyone nearby who uses s754 some more, my proc prob only work with modded bios'ed dfi 250gb only coz there's a 3 cycle wait to initialize dtr... so in other words, the rig mite or mite not boot up

so in other words, I need to borrow someone else's proc

do you changed your BIOS after "8*300 wit vcore 1.65V" benchmarking??
cause different BIOS might have different oc-ing capability

believe me, if i change bios i would've known and changed to diff bios beb

* new news here.. b4 this i got this temp problem even im not OC'ing my AMD64. but 1 thing weird here. ive heard my friend oso experience like this before, then after formating his pc then his temp omost decrease than b4. so, ive just format my pc & the my temp oso decrease. very2 low. idle just 30c. now, im going to OC my rig, since b4 this got temp problem. thanks for all dear gurus here.

hrmmm.. proceeding to OC. on default core just able to do 219x11 & pass Aquamark but fail on 3dmark03. why arr? onload temp just around 48c.

fritzz the proc SPMW is a gem..
1.39vcore can reach 2.6 Ghz---What a superb chip u got there dude..
