i'd suggest the ranking is done based on % of oc...e.g. pccrazy -- rated: 2000Mhz oced:2610 % oced:610/2000 => 30.5% So...the oced achieved: 30.5% just my suggestion... now...going for the oc and getting the screenies

i just wondering...the temp you guys mentioned is taken from which reading? BIOS? Smartguardian?or external probe?...coz my BIOS reading and Smartguardian reading totally different...by about 10C...normal load reported 35-37C...BIOS...hahhaa...always got the delta at full speed...which is set to run at that speed with 50c threshold...damn hot la...already used the as5...followed the instruction...so back to my question...which reading do u use?

QUOTE(PCcrazy @ Mar 29 2005, 07:34 AM) My reading is from Corecenter provided by MSI...actually reading from windows.. We know that the temp is not that accurate..but my BIOS and Corecenter reading is about the same.. Maybe you should try downloding the latest smartguardian... used the latest already...i think...anyway...stumble across a forum and this fella recommend to use Speedfan...here's the link...it sounds great...maybe will give it a try once got back...

QUOTE(shadow_dweller @ Apr 4 2005, 10:15 PM) whoaa .. remyx your temp is very very very high ... you install your HSF properly or not ? 1.5vcore running at75 degree celsius it abnormal i think. dont think...it is abnormal...already take the hsf out and installed it again...as per the instruction...used as5...but still got this temp...looks like i have to take it out again...and installing the ram stick under the wing is damn troublesome...only once i got the temp to cool down, then can see how this proc can perform, even the stepping is not good...but who knows...

QUOTE(e-jump @ Apr 5 2005, 12:18 PM) did u touch the hs? hot? maybe bios glitch.. btw, pump it laa to 280++ i can even do 340x8 that's the prob...the hsf doesnt seem to be hot...maybe something is wrong la when i tried to wrestle the hsf over the ram stick (DIMM4)...seems like there is micro gap between the hsf and proc...well back to the board again...

finally...got my ram stick on DC...and the hsf alligned on the proc...but with some mod on the xp120...last time, cannot put the hsf flat on the proc...running DC alright, but the temp is suicidal...reached 80c on full load...due to the small gap between hsf and proc...but now ok already...temp is 34c at idle...full load around 40c@1.60v...

48 is still good what...at 275...failed priming within minutes...need to pump in more juice i think...we'll do it shortly...now running at 270...idle at 33c...i think i'm gonna use this for my 24/7 since already primed it for 7 hours...hope can go higher considering the proc is cbbid 0504mpmw...300 would be impossible...at least not with air cooling...
/offtopic: rzone...if u ever wanna upgrade ur gfx...please let me know...i've one same as yours la...maybe can do sli...chipset is moddable...
