I just had a look at the frontpage, nice work PCcrazy! Looks like the list is populating nicely too smile.gif

Btw, anyone breached 2.8Ghz yet on a A64? Come on guys, Malaysia Boleh! thumbup.gif

I can bench at 2.9Ghz but stable at around 2.75Ghz only biggrin.gif

Post some results too dude! Btw, are those results based on your FX-55?
*
Yup, those are my FX-55 results. I'm using the stock cooler atm, priming at 2.67Ghz right now biggrin.gif

Nice OC's people. Keep it up! smile.gif

Btw, is the increase in HTT noticeable in benchmarks and/or real world applications itself? Does it really boost performance significantly comparing same memory settings in 1:1 and with higher HTT (dividers)?
*
At the same speed, same timings, and without dividers, a higher HTT will give you higher benchmarking scores. You probably won't notice anything in apps/games.

I've just reinstall my watercooling set last night. Will try again tonight with the ac at full blast and a bucket of ice biggrin.gif

Tried priming at 2.8Ghz but failed in less than 30 minutes. Folding + downloading the whole night without any problems though biggrin.gif

PS: Irenic, jom swap procesors biggrin.gif

Okok.... no problem biggrin.gif

I'm doing dry ice guys, not liquid nitrogen. LN2 is too risky sweat.gif

I just ordered 11kg of DI today, will pick them up tomorrow. I'll be cooling a 3000+ Venice and 9800SE first. Once I iron out the problems that I'm pretty sure I'll be facing tomorrow, the FX-55 and X800XT-PE will go under DI next week thumbup.gif

I went to C-Zone just now, thinking of grabbing a Winchester. When scoot saw me he straight away told me that the 3000+ Venice will arrive today. I waited for more than two hours but there's still no sign of the processor so I decided to come back tomorrow to pick it up.

If previous experiences is any indication, you can only buy the Venices if you buy several other hardware since there will be very limited units available sweat.gif

So.... It HAD BEGUN.

Dude...PcCrazy's got a great idea. Why dun you start a sort-off log thread? Can even think of a title for ya... The Road To Venice. tongue.gif

Good Luck...and May the Force be with You.

Ok man, once I get this baby fired up I'll create a Venice overclocking/discussion thread, and then another one for the DI party laugh.gif

Hehe not exactly yet bro. I'm waiting for another XFX 6800GT to arrive some time next week then that'll be a complete SLI rig.

I think water cooling might have to wait a little longer rhough as I need to get the Maze4 SLI kit. The normal GPU blocks won't fit on a DFI NF4 board unfortunately. Another setback today too, I think my Twinmos UTT is dead. One of the sticks isn't booting sad.gif

Have to contact chinsc to see if I can get a replacement. Sigh, dunno why so unlucky lately, first the mobo problem then now the RAM. Now i'm short of cash already as I was actually gonna sell my BH6 and keep only the Twinmos.
*
Did you run your pc 24/7? What's the vdimm? One stick from my previous two pairs of VX kinda died on me after I ran them 24/7 with 3.5v......

My Venice 3200+ seems to be a total failure.
Only can get 2250 (250x9) 1.50V.
What seems to be wrong?
Using Asus A8N SLI Deluxe
HTT multiplier = 3x
RAM divider at 333

You can't expect each and every processor to be a gem..... that's not a bad overclock actually. Try increasing the vcore, 1.6v is still safe for everyday usage with aircooling.
