It depends on the codec used to encode the avi in the first place.
These days, just use VLC Player.

despite today's tech, CRTs actually have better contrast. it's just that it's hard to make it huge, and even then it'll take too much space

try watching astro on a CRT n compare with the latest LED tvs

but CRT cannot handle hi-def la of course

Great man! Lovin the new laptop. How's the battery life on yours? I've read that the hi-res display uses abit more battery life than normal. I'm kinda curious because of the reviews I've read about the battery life of MBP seems to be excellent. How about yours?

Do you think malaysia apple will have the same? I am about buying macbook in 1st week of july. .

firstly are you a student? if you are not then better dont abuse the system, its meant for STUDENTS or EDUCATORS. if you are a students then the answer is NO, apple store online MY doesnt offer such package as this is a back to school program in the US and UK, why they dont have this program? well people in Malaysia tend to abuse the EDU discount

my sentiments exactly , seriously though apple should step up and make EDU store only accessible through college and UNI networks and also make it mandatory for them have a student ID database

Just got myself a brand new Macbook Pro 15" 2.4GHz Core i5
I'm glad I switched to Mac. Had been a Windows user for almost a decade
And I got a free iPod Touch as well. Enjoying it to the max!

Oh ya I wanna sell the iPod. If anybody's interested just give me a shout

Edit: Any accessories to recommend? Already bought a silicon case for my keyboard that actually 100% resembles the original one and an Incase Neoprene Sleeve

Added on June 27, 2010, 4:49 pmif u r not using any hard cases for ur mbp, i would strongly recommend the MOSHI palmguard (it also comes with the trackguards). the material used is exceptionally great or could i just say its just simply amazing. its like a thin layer of metal and it do feels very good when u rest on it

p/s: i'm using a speck seethru satin for my mbp n the palmguard is NOT advisable as it is not compatible anymore with the case unless u do a little modification to the palmguard yourself. the case actually pushes the palmguard out of where its supposed to sit when u clip it on.
