good cuz I do have a few packs are made in china. 1 out of 3 packs are china and when I compare side by side they seemed fair.
Though charging it via my Liitokala Lii-500 both registered similar around 2200mAh on my white batteries, the china ones took longer to charge than the Japan ones.

Hey guys, just to share an interesting headlight I found today : YLP Panda. A Russian made light that is not widely available AFAIK.

While I feel it is somewhat similar to some of Nitecore's headlights, but this YLP's lumen is much higher should users need it.

Yup. A quick Google shows some reviews here, here and here. YouTube reviews are all in Russian / Slavic language.

So far not planning to buy. Haha. Already have my Skilhunt headlight. These YLP are very interesting but so far L shaped headlights such as Skilhunt fit my needs more for now tongue.gif

Because I am still very much a newbie, just started to realise there are other high CRI emitters other than Nichia LEDs such as this Samsung and some Luminus SST tongue.gif still have much to discover.

easy
Brightness wise
Samsung LH351D>SST-20>Nichia 219c

but when it comes to color then it is the other way round.

Can't beat Nichia when it comes to good colors.
The SST-20 is a sensitive die that change color depending on the amp given so it's inconsistent.

But SST20 is great for throw light as it is the tiniest chip you can get while the LH351D is the fattest flood LED

Ahh.. This makes things much clearer. Thanks smile.gif
Guess I'll probably still stick with Nichia, since that's it does what high CRI lights does best : colour rendering (even if it sacrifice some brightness). Though I must say that I don't see much lights using the Samsung LED. Hmm..

these two just came in. first impressions: nice form factor. the i3r has since replaced the tini that's been on my edc keychain. the tini got accidentally activated way too often. the tip2 was surprisingly smaller than i thought it would be, but that'll end up in my bag rather than on my keyring.

Attached Image

p.s. the magnet on the tip2 is still strong enough to attract coins even with the cover on flex.gif

After using my TIP2 for awhile, the paint on the buttons are slowly peeling off.
Looks something like this.

Most likely due to my pressing using my fingernails. doh.gif

As much as I baby my lights, I find myself using the scratched lights more than usual (which is a good thing. Don't waste money not using it HAHAHA)

i kinda like the tip2, but have my reservations about the clip. it takes far less effort to detach it than the tailcap. pretty unconventional but i had it hanging by belt yesterday with my keys attached to the tailcap ring instead, and when i tugged at my keys to detach the tailcap from the light, the entire light came off the clip instead of just the tailcap. guess it wasn't designed for that sweat.gif

At the most, can just design to attach to the bill of a cap. nod.gif
user posted image
And the clip makes the buttons a bit more recessed (less exposed to accidental on)

I also don't trust to attach to bags or pants.

For sure will drop off. doh.gif
