Hi guys i am looking for NCR18650GA based batteries with protection circuit either from a known supplier (Nitecore, Keeppower, etc) or otherwise (no brand). Anyone can recommend a seller locally? I found this supplier on lelong, anyone can vouch for him?

For some reason he has 3 of otherwise the same battery priced differently with what seems to be different protection circuit used.

my little additions. i know, i know... i said i prefer cylindrical lights but thought i'd give these impressive guys a chance to shine. well, they're exactly as they're made out to be... packs a punch in such a small package. and they're light. weight is seriously negligible. again a matter of personal preference but i think i'll stick to my cylindrical lights. still amazed by how much light this small fella emits though.

only thing remotely interesting for me was the nitecore tup...but its too big for keychain edc.

kinda strange nobody mentioned this yet... the olight seeker 2 pro. can't say the bracket appeals to me and if it could've shaved a couple of dollars off the price, i'd personally go without one. whadya guys think? yay, or any?

Sleek and smooth

Looking at nitecore tip, I think I am more hooked towards the Lumintop EDC05C

No sign of it in their official website but there's a BLF review of it.

Looks tiny for a AA light with XHP35 on 14500 only though.

The 5 on the left worked fine, the 2 protected black cells worked but I couldn't fully tighten the end cap, though it's usable that way. The 3 on the right did not work. So the only flat top I got working was the EFEST, and the 2 protected cells had issues with the length.

Most 14500 lights I experienced all had issues with protected cells so that isn't new to me 
My Thorfire TG06 is the only light that fits a long keeppower sanyo protected cell and even that has issues in removing batteries.

I kinda stayed obedient and only use unprotected so far. Button top or not should be a gamble in this light then

I was a lil sad as I tried to order from banggood and it went out of stock right after I paid.

Guys, on this flood light topic, may I have some recommendations on flood flashlight?

I am searching for one to use as EDC BUT I want something like the size of Fenix TK20R.

I was looking at this: Klarus Mi1C Ti Titanium CREE XP-L HI LED 600L Rechargeable Flashlight    then only I realized that LED flashlight also can have flood beam instead of throw beam.. Newbee.   

I was checking out in Nitecore website but the best they have is only TIP2.

Any advise where to bring it in also?

one thing that bugs me about tip2 is still old UI, and the magnetic tail cap while closed can still attract stuff.

tup meanwhile, the lcd is too fragile for keychain use...
tho its UI is better...

The tip2 ui is the same as the tini tho... so also 2 secs to turn on..
at least the tup has a lockout mode... but still too big for keychain use.

Sometimes I don't get why people don't like the 2 seconds on.
Maybe 2 seconds is a bit long but I tend to accidentally on my tip keychain due to the instant on.

I fixed my missing head by roughening the threads with superglue.
It's no longer the buttery smooth roll (crunchy twists that grips) but at least I don't loose my Astrolux A01 after the o-ring tore

how u all lose the heads? turn too much and over compensate the lockout?

did u try using Teflon tape?

I just received a Olight I3T EOS which has two modes and operated by a tail switch.

My question is, is there anyway to hack this thing so it will go straight to the bright mode? Also how does the tail switch works (technically)?

Also can recommend me a AAA flashlight with a tail switch with only one mode? I’m giving this to an old lady and I’m afraid too many modes will confuse her

nitecore mt22 is for me quite irritating to use.

for single light AAA single mode clicky... not really aware of many.
but for single AAA single mode twisty... can do no wrong than the olight i3e... rm40+ only.
