you dun have to cut it, if u r using maxis line...... maxis already have micro-sim to offer to d public.......but on how to sign-up micro sim from maxis, then u got to head down to maxis centre and ask the customer support

if i not wrong. maxis offer to change you normal sim into microsim with a fee of rm25 if you are current maxis customer and free for new customer,

but cutting the simcard sometime have its risk. the risk where we accidently cut it wrong etc.

Guys, do you think it will still be a lock phone if i buy one from US?

why do we still have ppl worrying about microSIM? maxis already have it lah

if digi's going to bring iphone in, they will have microSIM for sure

for celcom, even if they have microSIM, u still need to purchase iphone from maxis/digi with the RRP price... which IMO isnt worth it since u hv to pay ur celcom bills summore. but if celcom decides to bring in iphone 4 too, sure they will have microSIM

that is only for ipad 3G package........by the time iphone 4 roll out....maxis got to come out certain plan for iphone. by then micro sim will be become like normal sim.

yeh micro sim is never a problem here. and risky cutting? it is just a simcard...not a4 chip. but just ask some pro to cut it wont be a problem

Because Apple refuse to acknowledge Malaysia as a viable market. At least bring Malaysia up to par with Singapore, as a second-tier market. Until that happens, and revenues starts making them take note of the seriousness of Malaysians with thair Apple-related products, it will always be like this. On a yearly basis.

"Can I get a Microsim?"
"Microsim only available for Iphone/ipad package sir"
"Can I have a Microsim and still stick to my current package?"
"No. We only issue the Microsim with the data package"
"But it's just a sim with a smaller body"

Yeah me too. I thought the iphone 3gs was cool but never had the motivation to get it. Even now it's fairly cheap but .. NAH.

This Iphone4 is such an improvement. I think it'll last for years. (Until Iphone5 anyway)

Lol. Hence it'll last for a year ! And that depends on when U get ur hands on ur iPhone 4. My iPhone 3GS is still under warranty but who cares?!

As to MicroSIM, if so susah just pay RM25 to get it changed lah ! That in my opinion is the least of the worry ! At the very least, I know Maxis oredi has the MicroSIM

hmm,how if telco from malaysia dun have micro-sim plan for iphone yet when u get iphone 4 from Australia(example)?
u still need to wait the microsim first to use the iphone right?if not jsut use ipad micro sim with data only...
